The newest "Sherlock Holmes" film with Robert Downey Jr.

I have to say I love a good mystery. When my kids first chose the new version of Sherlock Holmes I rolled my eyes. As many of you movie watchers know. Sherlock Holmes has been made over many times. After watching the movie, I was highly impressed with the way Robert Downey Jr. portrayed Sherlock Holmes. He made the character more believable.
What version did you like for Sherlock Holmes?

I will not be seeing this newest "Sherlock Holmes" movie. From the previews I can see that they have somehow made Sherlock Holmes into an action hero. That's not the Sherlock Holmes I remember, it's so far off that it actually makes me angry. I thought he was supposed to investigate with a magnifying glass, not jump kick bad guys in the face then dive out of a window right before the building blows.

I must admit, they didn't do such a good job with the previews. They really didn't portray them correctly, the movie is far different from the previews. But, I can understand where you are coming from.
There have been many times when I have watched a movie because the previews portrayed it in one aspect and walked away quite disappointed after wards.
