When I was younger, I had a cyst on my tail bone and it got infected. Just having the blankets on it hurt. I had it drained, but it is comming back again. I hope to have it drained or removed before it starts to hurt again.

I had this problem too and in the same spot. Gosh! It would be painful to sit and I could not even lie on my back. I had to get it drained too. I hope you don't have to go through the pain again. I know what it is like. I will honestly pray for you.

Thank you! It was probably the worst pain I have ever experienced. I hope not to go through that again, but I keep putting off going to the doctors. I am afraid they will say it must be removed, not drained. I have heard that surgery is awful.

Two years ago I had this terrible chest pain that I could hardly breath. Everytime I inhale, it would be hard for me to exhale. I just rub my chest so the air will easily comes in and comes out from my mouth I had a hard cough as well. It happened for several nights. I can't sleep at all. I didn't know how I was able to tolerated it when it was really unexplainable pain. Until I went to my doctor after a week. The doctor told me that I was having an asthma attack.

Yeah, especially if I have burned my back or neck
I can tell you that that hurts like ***** when you try to sleep
Sometimes I just have an headache and I can't sleep, and even the "medicine" won't help. When I have something like that, then I don't just sleep at all, but read a little bit until I just fall asleep without meaning it

I have a knee that will occasionally wake me up, at 4:30 every time, even if I have taken an anti inflammatory. The thing is, there is nothing wrong with that knee, not even a little arthritis. It gets sore from me walking funny. That is why I had the foot surgery. I find if I take big doses of the right vitamins it does not happen though. My toes sometimes hurt inside my shoes in the day time, but that would be awful in my sleep. When I worked in nursing homes we had what they called foot cradles, but they were actually more like tent frames. They kept the sheets and blankets from touching the residents' toes. Evidently foot pain can be a major problem. I hope you find some relief.

The drs have given me some pain killers that are alot stronger than the others, but they are making me feel sick alot of the time. The dr also gave me some other tablets that are to lower my blood pressure aswell as open the vessels in my toes as the raynauds disease has got alot worse where as it should be better as it is getting warmer.

I am sure if you could get out and about more, it would help, but I know you cannot. I hope you get some relief. You may need to make sure you have eaten something right before you take the stronger pain meds. You blood pressure will also go up if you are in a lot of pain.

Ya, When I was in the middle school, I used to spend the night sleepless with toothache, After three months of suffering (not continuously) I got that decayed tooth removed, which is a memorable incident in my life, because the dentist was my schools ex student.

I hate having tooth ache that is one of those horrid pains that seem to go on forever and then you have to wait to see the dentist. The pain in my toes do not even go away when i have taken the pain killers that the drs has given me instead the pain killers make me feel sick all the time,so i am not much better of either for taking the pills.

The only time that I can actually recall being in that much pain, was when I broke my arm. Even though I was taking the pain releivers that the doctor had prescribed to me, I would still wake up if I rolled over and hit my arm or moved my arm just the slightest amount. That was a really bad break, I had to have surgery and have 3 pins put in my arm. I wouldn't ever wish that much pain on anyone. However, I know that there are people that are in other types of pain and some pain that is a whole lot more.
I hope that you will be feeling better soon and that this is not a permanent disorder.

Well, as far as I remember I have gone through these situations for twice only. First, When I was in 7th Class I was suffering from unbearable stomach pain can't tell how severe it was I can still remember I didn't sleep a single moment on that night, the next day was my 'English' Exam and I have not prepared so good for it because of this pain. Surprisingly, When my results came I have got my highest marks in English. Second, started out in night when my ear started to ache I could'nt not hear anything for several minutes, Although it ended on the same night but during the period it remained I felt horrible.

Yes I have quite often, but the worse time was when I had problems with my Gall Bladder and the Doctor I had then ignored that it was the Gall Bladder, for 12 Months I suffered it until I demanded for a scan or something to be done
It is the worse Pain I have ever suffered and never want to suffer again
Pains in my Lungs at times can keep me awake but I have strong Pain Killers for that so eventually I will give in and take one so that I can go to sleep

Yes, I had such experience. That was when I had a toothache way back in high school. Other than that, thank God, I never experience any other pain that have keep me awake. My teeth as of the moment are all fine and well. I cannot say that I am in perfect health but I am good and well. I hope that you are feeling fine now.

Oh yes! When I was young, toothaches kept me awake plenty of times. Dentists where I lived just pulled the tooth out. That was quite while ago.
Also a few years ago I developed acid reflux that created an ulcer in my esophagus. The pain was constant, day and night. I only fell asleep for a couple of hours when my body just shut down.
Pain is awful!

Yes indeed I had. Years ago I found myself in excruciating stomach pain at around 3 am. I couldnt sleep at all because of the pain. I took antacids because I have had history of hyperacidity. Pain was not relieved so I had myself checked by the doctor immediately. Little did I knew that it was actually appendicitis. Im ok now. Thank goodness for friends and family that was with me all through the way.

When I was diagnosed with panic disorder the doctor gave me an anti-depressant. The first time I took the medicine it gave me an uncomfortable feeling. That night it was really hard getting myself to sleep. I tried everything to make my eyes tired. I watched TV, tried reading, and use the computer but still I wasn't tired. The medicine kept me awake the whole night.
