How do other people gain so much income?

I'm just saying. How do other people make so much money while I make barely anything? Other people have gotten over $0.50-$0.80 a day and I'm making only half that amount in 5 days; not even $0.50 a week. I've only joined here 5 days ago. I just don't understand. I've been trying to be more active in the forums for over 4 days, but can't seem to get a decent amount of money. I just hope whatever income I get will be decent.
Also, how do people get more money per post without any referrals or tasks? I only did one task and that was it.

to be fair you need to be commenting as a minimum of 20-30 discussions a day and also replying to any responses that are made on your discussions
there is no secret and no one knows exactly how mylot work out the earnings though I am usually around 75 cents a day but I don't do it for the money.
Maybe that's what you need to do stop chasing the money and just start responding and replying and treat the money as a bonus.
Also once you get your star rating that also affects your income to a certain degree.

You know, you may be right (wait, you are right). I've been doing this for money when I should've been doing this for the friends and the experience of friendship. It's just that I haven't been paying attention, although I've been posting. I will continue posting day after day, and I'm not stopping anytime soon.
You know, I have made a maximum of 12 cents in one day, and a minimum of 2 cents in one day. Right now, I have 44 cents (and counting). I'm realizing that the money is not that important. I've also learned the importance of friendship and social interaction.

Well, looks like my participation paid off. I have almost DOUBLED my earnings (I've made 41 cents in one day) to 85 cents, and that's a HUGE boost for my money. I've also made quite a few friends. I didn't come here just for money (although you can't come here just for money), but also I came here just to have fun. You're right. People who just come for money don't last very long in mylot.

Yesterday, I've made about 11 posts, and started 4-6 discussions. I've also made a fairly long quality response. Most of them are either 5-8 sentences, but some of them are 1-3 paragraphs. As you said, reaching your minimum payout can take a while. I've mad a little under half a dollar in 6 days, and I'm guaranteed that I'll add half of my current earnings to my income if this verifies.

i am one member here who got a few referrals. but mind you, there was not even one of them who are active these days. and even if we go back to four months ago, i have one active referral from a dozen of them, but the amount i got from that lone active referral do not match my earnings.
i could say i am one of those, above average active mylot member. i can get half a dollar a day if i want to, without the help of my referrals. it is only that i participate in more discussions. i seldom start a discussion but some times, i could not help but start at least one topic each day.
i also do not do tasks. i could have done it once a long time ago, but i never did it again. i like to interact more with friends through posts.
i think i guess, you need more focus in participating. and that means you need more time to be here. that is if you really want to make more.

Just see your number of post.You have made 19 post only then how on this earth you will earn 50 cents in a days?If you want to earn that much amount then you need to make atlist 30-50 post per day.I do earn 1 cent to 1.5 cent per reply but my replies are short generally 4-5 lines.If you make long replies like 1- 2paragraphs my lot gives you more amount.
Also there are task there in task section.Complete task to increase earning.Happy my lotting.

I earned 37 cents in 5 days, not 50 cents a day. You're right. I need to start getting more active. as you said, I only made 19 posts (and counting) to earn 37 cents. I need to start interesting topics in order to get more responses, and judging at how many responses I have received on this topic, I'd say that I'm going at a pretty good rate here.
I can't do tasks not because I don't know how to do them, but because I can't do them.

You need to make quality posts that are informative, lengthy, and most of all, useful. Aim for a post that is at least 3 sentences long. Also, try to start discussion in interesting topics that you think people will comment on. Then, when you see some comments, reply to them, even just to acknowledge their participation in your discussion. That way, you'll increase your earnings and build a network of friends.

You can make more then what you are most likely making, but by the looks if you are talking about Mylot, then there is a good reason for it, you don't even have a rating yet, our ratings contribute to what we make. When you make discussions, make them of good quality, also when you post a discussion, make sure that you respond to all the comments you get that way you earn from every comment as well as response. With only 37 replies from you so far? I hate to say it, but your not active enough yet to make a lot of cash here.

I am getting an average $0.10 a day. I don't really mind though, any amount in cents per day is fine by me. Another tip I read somewhere is that don't reply to discussions that are against the TOC and one liners. Those will be deleted along with your post

as i am farely new to this to, i posted a different topic to tell of what other sites i use , but all these i just started 3 days ago. i dont kno how this one works to much. but i have posted 4 discussions, and have replied to about 3 topics. and still have a zero balance. i dont kno how people do it but some can make it. i just hope that i dont have to go out and get a second real job. i need these to work out for me, cuz i work over night, and to have to go to another job in the morning and back to work the same night will kill me. please help, any mention of any other good sites would be greatly appreciated . thank you
