Money can't buy Happiness that is true. But money can buy things that will make you happy. A great house, A great car, go around the world. So if money can't buy happiness, use it to buy something that will make you happy.

That's true with money you can buy great house, great car, anything you need but I tell you even if you have all of that, there are times you are not happy that money can't give to you.

I think if you have great car, great house, if I have all the things I need. I can be happy. But there would be instances that I might get all the things that I want, I feel happy, but there's no satisfaction- now this is joy. Money can buy our happiness, but not joy.

What's the diffirence of happiness to joy?. Is not the same?. If you happy its means you are joyful am I right?. so money still can't buy happiness nor joy.

l'm sure money can buy happiness. l mean in a world like ours money is what matters the most. Some of us are not fortunate enough to have lots of it, therefor we are unhappy. Don't listen to the bullpoop about how health is what matters. To be healthy you often need a lot of money too. So money and love are the most important stuff here.

I think money can't buy hapiness all the time. Look some of the richest people in the world they have all what they want but if you ask them are they happy, some of them answers not, so it means not all things that money can buy make us happy.

First of all the need to qualify the word happiness is paramount. That is very elusive and relative. Money, no doubt enables to acquire a lot material things, and sometimes it also can be used to buy skills and souls of even human beings. Happiness is purely the state of mind, changing from situation to situation. For a terminally sick person no amount of money or the things will make him happy than the joy of getting rid of the sickness by any means. True, the treatment costs. There could be relief without any costs also. But the essence is not the money. It is truly a feeling of relief from some kind of predicament or feeling of elation of getting a thing, whatever may be the monetary value that brings happiness. A hungry man needs food, thirsty man needs water, shelterless man needs a cover over his head - all luxurious things like mansions, limos, and other material posessions come to nought in situations when the needs are not or cannot be fulfilled.

Money!? Can it make us feel really happy and how much exactly? This is maybe the most frequently asked question, which people ask themselves since years and maybe even dacades.
well, for me it can, but it only depends on that how much it is and also for what kind of happYness we are talking about, because there are really many kinds of happYness- being happy with some material thing is something completely diferent than being happy with some person or some feeling that you have in your heart and which warms your soul. So that's why lets devide them into two groups- material and non-material things.
1. material things- here we can mention all the material things that we can buy with money-a lot of money- cars, houses , clothes, jewels, electronics/gadgets. So for example one of my biggest dreams is to haev my own house, but without a lot of money I just can't afford it- so that's why in this case I would tell that money will bring me happYness if i can buy/build the house of my dreams with it. about cars and clothes I think it can, just because I am not keen on that kind of material things. well, gadgets- this is another case- i love gadgets and here it also can make me happy.
2. now, lets face the second part- the NON-material things like love, friends and family( well, friends and family are some kind material, but for me they are something more, just like for many others). So, the love- if someone comes and tells you that you can buy love then he/she will lie to you- because the thing that you actually buy is the body and not the love, not the heart and its feelings, and that's why you/we don't buy love, we buy the body- the material thing.
Friends- the real and true friends we can't never buy with money- with money we can buy only fake friends, friends who will leave us as soon as we have no more money, no more goods for them! and family is something that we just can't and must not mix up with the money. family is the most important thing, much more important than the money!
Wish you all the best and a good day

I prefer little things and do not dream of a lot of money.I know money is needed but is not the most important thing. We should earn as much as we need for an average way of life. Some people work all day long just to earn more and more and in fact waste their life.

wow you're right... it's better to cry in a Porsche than on a bicycle, especially on rainy days. LOL
I believe money can't buy happiness. There are thousand reasons for this yet some people can't realize it. One of the reasons is happiness of being born, breathing is not payable. Other reasons... for parents, giving birth to their children is a free happiness. Though now a days those who can't bear child pays for insemination... that's for them but it is still different if it was really made from your capabilities. Furthermore, you may buy friends and be with them, but after a day or two will you not think that what if one day you become poor, will these friends still be your friends who will hangout with you the same old times? (this is so usual on movies LOL). Can you really accept the fact that they might not caring about you on their backs? I don't think so. There are also usual plot of stories in which a rich man is alone because due to being busy on his businesses his children lost interest to him. They normally mess up their lives. Tsk...
When you buy things for your happiness, how long the happiness will stay? how deep is that happiness... hmmm. LOL

I agree with you. It is better to cry on a Porsche rather than on a bicycle. My stand is- Money can buy our happiness. Who wouldn't be happy seeing thousand's or millions or billions of dollars in your own bank account? Who wouldn't be happy buying all the material things you would like? Who wouldn't? Let's not deny it with ourselves. Money can buy happiness... but not joy.

Actually, NOTHING can make you happy. NOTHING. It's kinda like the ultimate illness of humankind. We're never satisfied. It's called "man's insatiable wants". When we get something we, want something else. We never feel complete. When we get something we really want, there will come a time that you want something better, or better yet you want to get "out" of it real quick. (Like when you were a kid and you wanted to be 10 so badly, then when you're 10 you can't wait to be 11, or 15, or 20).
For someone to be happy, you have to learn to be content. If you want money, be contented with the money. There you will be happy.
I also want to add, I'd rather cry on a bike than in a porche. when I'm crying in a porche, there's something terribly wrong with my life!
