Hi, kooltiger. Yes, I do rate all the discussions. I do so, so that I can know which discussion that I have commented and posted on. It helps me out a whole lot. And I also rate others discussions because they took the time to post towards my discussion. I don't normally rate someone on a best response because, I try to get as many answers that I can before I choose the best response. If you feel that someone posted a great response, you can rate it, if you like. It is all up to you.

I don't usually rate discussion I think I rate only twice. I just respond to the discussion and add comments. Is really needed to rate the discussion?.

I never remember to rate a discussion but I'm usually just interested in responding and moving on. I have several discussions that I haven't marked a best response for either. I always think about doing it but I never get around to marking them. As far as should you do it, I guess it's up to you. I don't think it matters all that much either way.

I rate a discussion every time I answer a new one. Because of two reasons mainly - first, that it is a discussion that interested me positively and hence I rate it positive. Secondly because it helps me mark it so that in future I don't end up responding to it again by mistake.

I usually rate discussions I never rate negatively though unless the person is abusive or aggressive. So yeah you should rate all the time though remember not to rate negatively just because someone dis-agree's with you he he he he

I will rate discussions whenever I can. I will rate the quality discussions, or ones that have some substance, but the ones that only ask a question, and nothing else, I don't rate them. I would rather not rate them at all, if I can't rate them positive, as I don't like rating anyone negative, but I have done that a few times, especially when there are referral links posted in the discussions. I also rate responses and comments as long as they have substance, but then again, if there are referral links posting, then I will give them a negative. I also will rate negative those that are rude, and I am glad that there haven't been but just a few of those. We are all trying to raise our ratings, so by rating discussions and responses, we are doing just that. I will only rate the discussions that I post responses to though. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
