How can you help to save our planet?

I`m glad to see that there are peoples who are responsible and think about our lovely Earth.Now to the question , it has many ways to save our planet , we can start from saving a water , there are some country which the peoples there are killing them self fro water , this is the mainly problem of the Earth.The other problem which i think is serious is the CO2 emissions from the cars which are growing with every day and they are the reason to be afraid of Global warming.The peoples now think how to make eco cars and to make everythink ecological , which is good idea but maybe impossible , in the world there are now thousands of cars which are working with eco fuel .. In my own way i can start saving a water , riding a bike to work instead of car or using public transport , saving electricity and many other things :)

hell0 there! well there are really many ways to save the planet and everyone of us can help especially today, because of the Earth's day and we all must think for it, because the Earth is the only place for ous in this galaxy where we can actually live and I think that it would be really nice if all we make something ECO today, at least today so that we can feel a part of this holiday, of this so wonderful day. as we all know there are many people all over the world called militants, who care for the Earth and care to keep it clean. maybe the most popularorganisation is green peace and you can go and visit their site. there you will find many ideas about that how can we actually help our planet, but of you don't have the time to visit that site, then I will give you some tips/advices: 1. The first thing that you can do and that I think it is the best way to help the planet breath is to plant a tree. wel, many people think that it is actually not such a big deal to plant a tree and what will change and how will help one tree, but if everybody of us here, the members of this social network go today or tomorrow and plant a tree there will be thousands of trees all over the world plant by us and one tree reduces the poison gases of 4 cars for an hour. 2. you can stop using paper to write some notices or at least with the bills and use electronic ones, because from 100 kg. paper one tree is cutted. 3. saving electricity also helps our planet and you can try to reduce your electricity consumption. 4. use a bicycle to go to work/school and use the car rarely, because riding a bicycle is ECO and driving is non-ECO :( 5. use only ECO-friendly products like deodorants and some washing products. don't use plastic bags, because plastic needs more than 100 years to decompose. throw the trash in the certain containers, so that they can be sort! well, this are some of the advices that I can give you if you really want to help our planet breathing easier. you have to not take the earth and its resourses for granted as they have done in the past. you also have to find alternate ways of generating energy.

There are many ways to help save our planet, even in just a simple way. Start from the confines of your home by segregating the garbage and recycling those which can be reused. Avoid polluting the environment too. Those are just simple ways to help save our mother earth.

I am worried about our planet. Even if global warming didn't seem to be happening, I would still be worried about our planet. We live here and we should take care of it. I try to do a number of things to help in my own small way. I recycle everything that I can. I plan to start composting very soon. I just need to figure out how to do it. I also drive a car that gets very good gas mileage. I don't waste electricity. And, I also try to conserve water. I think we can all do a little something everyday and that will add up to a big help for our lovely Earth.

I usually turn off the lights when I am not in the room and I started using the green bags to prevent the build up of plastic garbage.

Well, I try to save water and conserve energy like turning off the lights and unplugging devices that I don't use. I also recycle cans, bottles, and paper.

Saving our planet with our own little way is very important. It's a good start not to use too many plastic bags. Reusable shopping bags is a good option, and they cost very less but durable enough to be used in the long run. I myself want to plant a tree, but for now I can't apply it yet because we don't own our house. But when we do, I will make sure that it'll be a lot of plants in they yards.

For me don't burn a plastic and a rubber so that it can't add the danger of global warming.

Hi ryvillanueva! That's so true, the heat of the sun in the Philippines is just terrible it's not even cold here in Tagaytay. In my own little ways, I will do the following to help save our planet: Reduce, Re-use and Recycle. When all of us learn these principles, I'm very sure it could make a big positive difference on our planet by saving our systems. :)

that's a great topic. i agree with you same with here i experience that case we are lacking of water in this place because of El Niño. and having an earthquakes to some province and also in the some cities. for me the way to prevent that all cases is to cherish our country, preventing to cut tress and avoid spreading garbage. in this two ways we can decrease some bad cases in our countries. i hope we care our country to develop our very own. take care always guys to prevent some accident to our places. and also pray to god to help us. thank you. that's great topic.

here in pampanga philippines,we are experiencing much heat.and i think if trees havent cut here at our backyards,it would'nt be just like this now..Planting trees i thinks can save us..

by simply throwing my garbage in the correct area.
