You got 100 responses in your discussion... and you have to answer to all them.

...seems like you will have to spend a lot time here, responding to all the members?
Is that ever happened to you? To get more than 100 responses and how many times did you spend answering them?
I think it is a difficult to answer that much and to answer with a different posts to everyone.
How do you think? And what if you don't have enough time to spend here, responding to all of them? You now you have to do it or they would be mad, but you are busy or lazy to do this...

'You wanted the bicycle, now you have to pedal' is what they say here in circumstances like that!
I have several discussions with more than 100 responses and I try and keep updated with the comments to all of them, especially when the discussion is relatively new. Then I comment on the others that arrive later as soon as I can, sometimes immediately amd sometimes later.
I enjoy commenting but unfortunately I don't have enough time at the computer all in one go to be able to keep up with comments so I start very few discussions. I like to comment as soon as a response is posted.

I see that you are busy with your dicussions these days. I know that montha ago you were not as interested in discussing like you are now and I am so pleased that you too have got the real meaning of what myLot is about too. I see you are really having fun!
I can't get to many of your topics (I could never keep up with you) but I have read them all and they won't disappear so one day, who knows, you might see me on more of them

*Di, I like to comment as soon as response is posted too, but sometimes I just can't.
I have few discussions with a lot of responses and I must admit that it was hard to answer all of them, especially when we are replying a lot of times in one box....
* Albert, it's not that bad if you don't have time enough to give comments-back to the peoples, responded in your discussions. You can do it as soon as possible, even if you do that in the other day, the most important is to give them your reply.

Hi, Daw.
Whenever I start a discussion, I am answering successively to the responders... I mean I started from first to the last response. Because I am afraid that if I skip someone's response, he or she will be mad on me...

Oh, I don't like the guys with the referral links too. I just hate to find someone posted their referral links in my (or even in other members) discussions.... in this situation I do not reply too.

I have a few discussions over 100 responses. I keep up with them by commenting to the responses as they come in. The more you comment, the more responses you seem to get. I even had some four year old discussions come back up because of this. Do not be too lazy, it is a way of earning even while making and keeping friends here on the lot. I do spend a lot of time online if I am not traveling. Keeping up with comments helps me continue to feel connected to my friends. Once in awhile there is a totally unrelated response that I have no comment for, but mostly I just try to be friendly and reflect back what has been said.

I don't start many but I LOVE getting a discussion going inside an individual response box where others are involved. I have been doing a lot of that this month and I see that others are enjoying it and finding it beneficial too. After all it is still a discussion isn't it even though it is inside a box and not a topic all to itself?

Gerty , I am trying to be friendly with all of the peoples that posted in my discussions. I also have some old discussions where sometimes I receive responses and I always reply to them.
Like MysDiana is saying, it is discussion and when we post it, we should discuss with other members and not only waiting for responses, and if we don't reply then we will earn nothing, after all...

Yes, 100 responses is a big number, and it is quite hard to reply all of them, but we should do it. I like to post discussions and I am happy every time I receive a lot of responses.
I don't reply to most of the, but to all of them, because if you 'skip' someones post, he/she would be mad and sad...

it would be a lottery for me... first it is really hard to have 100 responses.. because every kind of problem just gets resolved in about 20 to 30 responses maximum... then it loses interest.. but if i do get 100 responses.. i will comment back for sure..

Well.... I am not agree with you. There are many discussions with even more than 100 responses. I think the winner here is Go_Ask_Alice Her discussions always get a lot of responses and I wonder how much time she needed to reply to all of us.

well most of the responses here as i have observed are all end sentences, meaning there can be no response as they have only expressed their ideas. it is up to you to add more or to react to the responses.
all I do is just to read the responses. if I'm gonna see some question marks then I'll respond too. I'll respond also if it's a non-ended paragraph, meaning the response notion allows me to react. (i hope you get what i mean)
for this response... you may or may not respond back. LOL

Why do you think I will not respond to you? As long as you're giving me a non-end responses, I will keep answering you.

Well you see it is already nearly a month since you started this discussion and I have just got around to answering it. This is a bit different though as I was not busy commenting to 100 responders, however I have been busy trying to catch up with mylot. I just started doing this last week.
I have had times when I've got so many responses and to be quite honest I think I still have to comment on some of the people there. If I were to get done all that needs to be done to clean up on this site I think I would have struck it rich for that month.

I can definitely say that I understand waiting until being in a better mood to respond. Yes I agree responding at any time no matter if it's old or new is helpful and even makes the discussion starter happy. I know when I receive a response to a discussion months later, most of the time I am happy.. though admittedly some I'd like to bury away lol.

Hi SCG. I also have some discussions that I have to respond to, but I am not in a good mood these days, so I must admit that I am lazy and inactive... When I am in a good mood I will give back comments to everybody that participated in my discussions.
BTW usually I got responses from other members even after one or two months... And sometimes I respond to old discussions too. No matter if the discussion is old or new, if you have something to say, you just should post.
Hugs and happy mylotting.

Hi KompitaPita, I have had a couple of discussions that got 100 odd responses and I responded to all of them. i make it a point to respond to all the responses that I get in my discussions...It is not a problem since it doesn't happen in one day, I could answer a few each day.I think it is better than endlessly searching for a discussion that you want to respond to..

Hi Kiran. Good that you can give back comments to all of the responses your discussions received, but at least for me it is hard, especially when the responses are similar ...I mean I couldn't give 100 different responses for one topic...

I've never had a discussion with a 100 responses. The most I got was more than 50. But if I did, I would share the same feeling. It would be so overwhelming to start commenting to all of them, specially if you've been away for a few days and never gotten to replying as soon as the responses come in.
Still, even if it is tiring, I would still be intrigued to read and reply to all of them. Because I'm sure that out of all of those responses, I could make a few more discussions out of it.

Yes, you are right that it is hard and you need to spend a lot of time here, reading and responding to all of them. After 20th post I get out of my mind.. I mean... I don't have what else I could add, I only could keep posting same response over and over again...

I don't think they will be mad at you for not responding to them. I have written posts elsewhere and I don't think I respond to anyone if they asked me a question, I would have missed it since I didn't go back to check. People realise that its not a full time job here you are just trying to do some other stuff here or make an extra buck, so if they don't understand, that's too bad, if they do, well good

I've got lots of responses for my earlier discussions and I have commented or replied to all of them..except for the ones that didn't make sense or was totally irrelevant to the discussion on hand. I also remembered to rate the ones that were appropriate to the discussion on hand. Earlier I used to have lots of time and I would simultaneously be able to comment to my discussion and respond to other discussions. Now, I don't have as much time and so I check my discussions once in a couple of days and comment. But most the new responses get an immediate response (as soon as I log on to my mailbox, I see the notification).

It never happened to me and I never thought of such a situation. If it ever happened then I will surely try to reply all of them. I had to do it as due to this I am earning quiet a few cents. In that case the time that I will be spending in commenting,is very fruitful..All of the people who had put a response really deserve the comments from me.

yes, i love to start discussions and i have replied to all the responses (including nonsense/ridiculous ones) i received in all my discussions. i just don't miss out replying to any responses.
i feel that if they are willing to spend time responding to our discussions, we should also spend time to reply them. otherwise, why do you start a discussion? your respondents won't know whether you read their responses if you don't reply to them. also, discussions were meant to be in this way (mutual).
from time to time, i would also check my old discussions to see whether there are people responding and i will reply them back. i have a few discussions with more than 100 responses and if i am not mistaken, i took more than 3 months to finish replying to all the 173 responses in my one of my discussion.

Hi, Victory.
I have a discussion with over 100 responses and it took me two days to respond to all of them. But I remember that then I had a lot of free time ...
Nowadays it is a little bit hard for me to respond to all of them, but I keep respond when I have time. Maybe it is not too good to respond them after few days of their responses, but I don't have time enough to respond to all of them for just a single day...
Have a great day and happy mylotting.

The answer would be yes. It is in your best interest to comment back if you want to earn, as you are paid only for what you do and not what others do. If you want to earn, then you should comment back. I have never had that many responses, so I don't know know what it is like to comment back to that many. I am thankful for the responses I do receive though as it is sure better than getting zero responses. I am just not as fortunate to get all that many responses like some in here are. I wouldn't care how long it would take to comment back, as I most certainly would if I ever got that many responses that is. I don't really start all that many discussions, as sit is easier for me to just post responses to other discussions, then start my own. I don't have to think of a topic that way. good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hi, Rosekiss.
I am not agree with you, that posting in other people discussions is easier than starting your own topic. You're saying you don't have to think about the topic, but when you responding to other discussions you also have to think about what to type, aren't you?
I think every one could receive 100 or more responses.

As far as I am concerned, I have not got so many responses in any of my posts. The most responses may be not more than 50 a post. For me, at first I am trying my best to give every response a reply, But with the times goes by, I find it so difficulty for me to reply one by one, just for they are so many for me. So I think I will choose some of them for replying ,which I think will be a better way to solve this problem.
