Considering a normal working day, at what time do you usually sleep? I used to sleep at around 10pm but lately I am continuing to work till late on online work sometimes till midnight. I am ending up very tired but satsified with the work done ,and wish Ihad more time to do more actually. What effects your sleeping time and pattern?

I work and study, so an early night is a rare occurrence for me. I usually get to sleep at around 2am and wake up about five hours later. I am very lucky, though, as I can get by on a very minimal amount of sleep and have done so for most of my life. I actually become grumpy if I have too much sleep, as opposed to not having enough.

I usually start to feel sleepy around 10pm, go to bed around 11pm but stay up watching tv until 12:30 or 1am or something around that time. On the nights what keeps me up is work or online surfing. But usually that's my sleep pattern. When I'm real tired I can go to bed since 9pm and fall asleep.

I'm lucky if I can sleep before midnight. Sometimes I sleep at around 1-2am depending on the number of classes that I have. Since I have to wake up very early these days I can't have very late classes so around 1 am will be good for me. But before the campaign period I usually sleep at around 2-3am.

I am on the pc every night until sometimes early hours of the morning as i find it hard to get off to sleep.I find that if i go to bed too early then i do not sleep so i tend to wait until i am really tired.I think that by the end of the week my sleep pattern changes as of a weekend i have a lay in as i do not have to rush around trying to get the children sorted for school aswell as there are no appointments.

It oftens happens to me too. I wish I could never stop from the pc. I dont know how i would live without it :) i have got into that habit as well - not going to sleep before feeling that i am really very tired. and i think it is best because then if i am not tired enough i get frustrated simply staring up in bed in the darkness and cannot fall asleep.

i practically left sleeping now, but considering any day previously i used to sleep between 10pm to 12m sometimes even 01, but i used to get up by 7 or at max by 8am. now my sleep is rather unpredictable, i have become nocturnal and i do not know what to do. yet i can work in the day without any trouble.

It depends if I have something to do. With the intense summer heat here in my country, I find it easier to move about in the night, rather than doing chores that I usually do in the day. So, if I am able to do what I need to do without any interruptions, I'm usually off to bed by ten or eleven in the evening and then I get up around seven the next morning.

Hi, grkelly. I usually sleep before 12 a.m. the next morning. I usually will end up going to bed around 11 p.m. if I am really tired. And, if I am not so tired, I may stay up until 2 to 3 a.m. in the early mornings. If I am up from out of my sleep, it is because of my daughter that wakes up at odd times in the mornings. Sometimes, I wake up to calm her down or give her something to drink, so that she can go back to sleep.

I must be honest that i love to sleep. Snuggling up in bed is one of my favourite moments of the day. my child used to wake up practically every hour during the night. Now thank God at age 2 there is no more waking up or at least just rarely once to drink some water. Now i am appreciating a full night of sleep much more because at last after 2 years i am sleeping well.

Most days I'm up until pretty late because I work evening shift, so I don't get home from work until 11 pm - 12 pm and that really throws off my sleep cycle. Generally I need to be awake another hour after I work until I can fall asleep, so most nights I don't go to bed until midnight or 1 in the morning, even when I don't have to work just because I'm so used to it.

It really depends. Some nights Im tired at 9 PM. Sometimes I stay up past midnight. I have to say that usually it is around 10 or 11 that I hit the hay though. Somedays I have had a nap during the day or have gotten up later so I go to sleep later. Other days Im up earlier that usual so I get tired earlier.

I quite enjoy taking naps but sometimes I rarely find time to do so.

I have a toddler too. It is lovely to be in peace and quiet while the child is asleep and sometimes i wish i remain awake during that time. But obviously i have to rest too. I usually sleep an hour after my child goes off to sleep and i simply love that particular time!

It depends on the amount of work to be done. If for example the deadline for that specific project will be tomorrow and the load is too much , I won't sleep anymore until the work is really completed or if I was satisfied at it. But if it is an easy task, its either 11pm or up to 12mn will be the latest. :) Actually if I lack some sleep, I can't think properly, my head aches and I lose lots of energy in either communicating with other people or have a great time with friends and schoolmates. :)

If i get little sleep i wake up in a bad mood and snap at even minor things. That is highly intolerable for the people around me. I cannot think well and i yawn all day, so that will effect negatively the work i have to do during the following day. So, i make it a point not to sleep later than maximum 12.30

Yes, sometimes people might misunderstand you and it if that happens it will really affect your mood too and the worst thing is that you haven't had some sleep so you tend to get pissed off easily at small things which you don't like. So a right amount of sleep is very important. :)

I usually stay up so late. All I do is just log on the internet. I think I've become so addicted to the internet. Today, I've only slept for like 4 and a half hours. LOL.

I sleep in the afternoons mostly and rare at the night. May be this is insomnia or just I spare most time of searching the opportunity, who can make my life easier.

Hi,grkelly. My job has night shift.it's started from 7:30am to 7:30pm.Then the next day from 7:30pm to 7:30am.If i am off from day job i often sleep at 22:00pm,coz too tired after 12 hours of working.when it's night shift i often sleep at 10am when I get home,i often have a shower then go to bed. After about fours hours,I wake up naturally. So my working time effects my sleeping time a lot.

Hi grkelly. I usually sleeps around 11pm and I should have at least 7 hours of sleep per day. As much as I wanted to stay up late to do something productive like mylotting, I can't, my body clock somehow can't tolerate it anymore. The discussion of my doctor during a medical convention is that, we should be asleep between 10pm and 2am because these are the only time our body rejuvenates. I wouldn't like to miss it except when only needed.

In the profession I took which is architecture, I had to provide more time for me to design and draw. Designing is not just an idea that pop-ups to the mind and that's it. There should be analysis and revisions made to finally justify the design. Drawing is not just making lines. Aside from the translation of designs to drawings, there could be changes made in the middle of the process. Moreover, presentation manner is important. It is just not about to draw but to draw carefully and perfectly to entice the clients. Thus, the more time I needed to work means a more time I needed to stay up. Sometimes I don't sleep for 24 hours just to finish the work.
In conclusion, I don't really have a standard time to sleep. I normally practice until 12 midnight but when I hook up on something not about my profession I even could stay up till 3am or up to dawn.

Me too!! I never sleep before 10pm...
I like the darkness of night and the silence 'n' scary environment at night..
