Have you lied to make someone happy?

I know that lie is part of our life and most of us hate It, but we must live with It, because It's everywhere. Thats the reason to ask you, If you have lied someone your closed related to make him/her happy? I have done this many times and I don't feel guilty about this.

I probably have but I cat really remember any particular time. I dont think you should feel good about it if this is someone you love and are close to though. You would probably feel guilty and very bad that you lied to them even though it was to make them feel better.

I wasn't talking about for a big lie or cheating your wife. I mean something little like:
- "Is my nose too big"
-Off course not! It's perfect.

As far as I am concerned, I think I have ever made some lies to my girl girl friend, just want to make her so happy. Aswe all know that , we do not want our lovers or some other good relationship live in a sad life. So I think sometimes telling a lie is good to all of our family to be a happy life. It does help a lot.Have a nice day.

Yes, I did. I know lie is the most bad things to do. But sometimes we need to lie to make someone happy specially we are hurting inside.

of course, lie like this kind is a commom thing in our life. if it can make others happy, why not? two persom ,one who like telling a lie might be more popular with others. if someone told me that i look very beautiful , no matter whether its true or not, i might became very confident , and do the job more effectively.

i have also done that at times. it is better to tell the truth but there r some times when some things r best kept a secret. even if that means to have to tell a little white lie

Yes,white lie.You should not feel guilty.
Word of advice: You'd not lie frequently. Lie is lie. lie will be discoverd oneday. He/she will be hurt also even it is white lie. he/she will misunderstand you thinking you don't trust him/her. This may lead to anger. Worstly,hatred.

Everyone lies to make themselves happy in a certain way i think... If they wont feel better with the lie they wont lie...
