my little angel is turning 38 weeks inside my tummy now and a goodnight sleep is really a hard work for me nowadays. i can't sleep well because of breathlessness and i always felt hot. i sweat all the time in the evening and my bulging belly is already hard to carry. not to mention the frequent urination that wakes me up at the middle of the night. i know this discomforts will be gone when i am able to hold my baby a few more weeks from now. i am really praying for a healthy baby and a safe delivery. everything i am feeling now will be gone when i already have my little angel on my hands..

And that is what you just have to keep thinking. the last coiple of weeks are the hardest. I suffered with really bad heartburn and know just what it is like not to get a good nightts sleep. One thing you could do to help with your breathlessness it to sit yourself up in bed a little with lots of pillows. it's not the ideal sleeping position, but it will elevate your head and chest so you will be able to breath easier. Good luck woth the birth, I am sure everthing will work out fine :)

I have been there 2 times myself. And I am sorry to say this, but it will get harder. But you are right, it is worth it. Try a fan at night. It worked for me. GOod luck with everything, let us know how it goes!

That's the joy of being a mother. If you feel the hardship then the more you will enjoy parenting when your baby finally comes out. It is hard really to feel comfortable when your baby is already too heavy. Even the position of sleeping is so hard. But what comes next is the beautiful feeling of being a mother. Congratulations and good luck.

OH I miss being pregnant again though that stage of pregnancy is really tough for us, yes you mention that frequent urination and that bulging belly that makes us too difficult to move. Is this your first time? I tell you this, once you deliver your child all those tough times during pregnancy are nothing, your child is worth the pain during labor and delivery and those tough times you have during pregnancy. When you feel that they are coming out from you, you feel unfathomable happiness and when you wake up the next morning after giving birth you will then miss their kicking and motions inside your womb. Then you realize you need to stand up and rush to the nursery to check the baby. I have two beautiful kids and I delivered them both normally, and my husband and I are planning for a third child when my youngest turns 4.Now, he is still 2...:) enjoy the feeling while the child is inside you. Feel the kicking and motions because you will surely miss that when the baby come out.God bless and good luck.

Perhaps one of the reasons why you are having sleepless nights is because you are anxious of the upcoming delivery knowing that you are already 38 weeks pregnant and anytime now you will give birth. Just find time to relax nowadays. You will need all the energy once you deliver. The fruent urination is due to the limited capacity of your urinary bladder to accomodate urine caused by your tummy. Also, try to elevate your head once you sleep to prevent heartburn. Its actually a reflux of acidic contents of your stomach. You might feel chest pains if you lie flat on bed. Good luck and all the best on your delivery.

So sorry to hear you are feeling uncomfortable. The last few weeks are usually like that. I had a similar experience. Sleep was hardwork and I do enjoy my sleep so much! My baby is 6 months now and I can hardly remember how uncomfortable I was. Just keep taking it one day at a time, and before you know it your angel will be here with you. I bet you, you might not even remember your discomfort. Your angel will be totally worth it and I pray along with you for safe delivery and a healthy baby.
