Are you in debt with credit cards? Have you tried debt consolidation? Is your mortgage too much?

I had 4 cards and I was always using them, eventhough I was not in need of cash, I used them for purchases. Now I cancelled two, I have two and I have purchased goods and services worth $1200.Seriously thinking of reducing the number of cards into 1. The credit cards are nothing but debt traps.
