When I was 16, I worked for 4 days (yes days!) at Burger King. The restaurant itself wasn't too bad but the people in charge were. My friend (who was also my ride) was sick and they told her that she had to get a doctors note in order to keep her job, it was on a Sunday so that would have been hard to do that. They were not going to let me have time off to go to a summer activity for my church that was paid for by an anonymous person. So I decided that I really didn't need the job anyway! And yes that was my first venture into the workforce!

my would have to be, this roof company i worked for. it was my first job driving tractor tailors, and the boss and most of the people were so much butt holes.
the boss would yell at everyone call them names. and they would let him get away with it, until he tried to play that with me. yeah i gave it right back to him. he told me i cant talk to him that way, i told him well i dont care he's my boss or not he wasnt talk to me that way either, just because everyone else is scare to say anything or stand up to him, i am not.
i last three days, we back back forth him saying you are fired, and me saying i quit. then a few names tossed in there

I had a 1 year job when i was 20-21, i was a waitress in a japanese restau. But i can't take the way the employers were treating us. Without any hesitant, they would scream on us in front of the customers. I lost about a half of water of my body because of that job. I had suffer a lot and after leaving that job, i was a jobless for almost two years. i did not wanted to seek for another job because of the fear.

Well, this is my fifth job in my life, including the casual work at university. I can't tell which one is the worst, as I really learned something from each of them, and I enjoyed the work too. Of course, there must be some reasons for me to quit the job, but sometimes it's just that I needed to move on.
If I'd have to pick, I guess the worst job I've had is my previous job. I have good bosses and colleagues, but the bosses are a bit too workaholic and I always felt very stressed. At one point, I think I might get depression problem, and wanted to go and look for phyciatrist. Though I like the job I did -- doing programming, it's too stressful and I decided to quit. Some of those days, I just wish I could be knocked down by a car, so that I didn't need to work on the project anymore.

I was 18 then when my father had a stroke and was confined at home and left his job. My mom told me stop schooling first to give way to my brother who was then graduating from college. I didn't want to stop instead I looked for a part-time job to support my studies. I got employed in a real estate company owned by a Chinese businesswoman. I was the only Filipino employee at that time, most of her employees were also Chinese. They talked in Chinese at the office and they hardly speak English. I can't relate to them, I have no one to talk to, have no one to ask question if I have problem regarding my job. I can't even understand what my superior was trying to explain. I really got a head ache understanding their broken English. No offense meant to Chinese mylotters. I just lasted for two days and resigned from my first job and looked for another job.

I had a job for less thena day cold calling people to try to sell some kind of time share holiday scheme. The basic pay was dismal but the bonus scheme seemed decent, provided of course that you ever sold any! Anyway no body warned me of the kind of abuse you get over the phone from people. Needless to say in less then 2 hours I had sold nothing, been insulted, cursed, hung up on and threatened so that was enough for me.
I suppose some jobs are for tough skinned individuals but it certainly was not for me.

Hmm.. you started very early!
Well, i had a 3 day job at a telephone company which just opened. They needed help to set up everything and carry all the heavy stuff. I had to carry all the telephone equipment back and forth and they were in boxes so it was heavier than it really sounds like... but i had to go back and forth between these 2 storage buildings and the actual headquarters... it was probably the most boring, unenjoyable, and the least exciting job i ever had. So yea that was probably the worst one, but it only lasted for 3 days=p

The worst job I had was as a field salesperson for a telecommunications company. I was just so desperate to have a job at that time, so I accepted it. We'd only get commission, and not a regular salary. So after some training, I had to go to various business establishments, door to door, and tell them about the company's services. I worked for a week and got nothing. My toes were crushed in my shoes from walking too much, and they had a sort of hemorrhage, because I can see my toes red and purple. I quitted after a week. It took several months for my toenails to grow and the blood clot grew with the toenail, so later on, I realized the blood was in between my skin and my nail. I'll never go back to that kind of job again.

Good question !
Working nights in a childrens nursery with 4 children under 5. having to get them all up and washed and dressed with just two of us and most in nappies or bed wetters. Only one hour to do it.
Good day !!

All of my jobs have never been bad, but there was just one place where the people were bad, I made a confidential job application in the company, I applied externally, and when the managers found out about it, it spread like wildfire through the whole community and eveyone was gossiping about it, I didn't get the job, and I'm glad, but the people made my life hell when I was still working there...
