I need help planing a launch party for an online magazine

For three months now, I've been working on the project of an online magazine about handmade. At the beginning of April we launched the site, and since then it became quite popular. Now we want to make a PDF version of the magazine, with the best articles from the first month. Do you have any suggestions on planning a launch party? We already have a good location - a popular bar downtown that's offering us 2 floors and publicity for the party. But I don't know what kind of event would be best: just a regular party with screenings of the magazine on the walls or maybe a small handmade fair? What do you think?
