Hi myLotters! Some said it is bad to wear a cap inside the house, I hear some saying that it can cause baldness, but I think it's just a superstition. How about in visiting other's house? Some said that it's being disrespectful to wear a cap inside the house that's why you need to take it off. What are your thoughts about this? Do you think it is bad to wear a cap inside a house? Why do you think so? I hope I can get a response from you. Have a pleasant day! Happy myLotting! :)

Sweetie, wearing a cap can cause boldness, unfortunately. But to wear it in a house, is rude, no offense. In my country it is not done. You have to take it off, when entering someones home. TATA.

For some it is disrespectful. If we respect others opinion we should not wear cap inside. But really it is like your shirt, shorts, underwear. This things are what you want to wear. So why stop people from doing so? Does it hurt anyone? If not Then It is not bad. :)

Baldness is just a superstitious belief, but wearing a cap will be disgraceful to others when you're wearing cap in some formal get together or talking with someone and inside the house having your meal and so on! Why necessary to wear a cap inside the house? Cap usually wears outside to protect you from heat and direct sunlight and not at home.

Yes, it's disgraceful and disrespectful as well. I also believe that it's just a superstitious belief that wearing a cap inside can cause baldness. Thank you for responding! Have a pleasant day and happy myLotting! :)

Hello! Yes, I have heard about baldness, but if you don't wear a cap every day then it's ok. Because head's skin has to breath if it doesn't breath, then hair don't grow - that's the truth! And visiting someone at home with cap is quite rude but if they are wearing caps too then it's ok happy mylotting!!!

Hi, Harold_ks. I am unsure about this one here. I think that if you are at someone house a person should remove their cap. It is just a form of respect for yourself, if it is done. I did not know that wearing a cap all of the time can cause baldness.

I was brought up to think men were suppose to remove their hats in the house but seems that's a thing of the past as so many things are. Children need to be taught manners but they are not like i was.

Hi antiquelady! So you are saying that it's an old belief and most people of modern days are not following it. I hope I got it right. Thank you for responding. Have a pleasant day and happy myLotting! :)

It is not bad but disrespectful if you are visiting someone's house or the church and you did not remove your cap. Though in some religions they have specific head wear for adoration, just like in the Catholics, the veil. It is your preference to wear cap inside your house, who will care? It's your house, however, so as not to hear anything from others like being disrespectful, take off you hat if you're going to others' houses.

I think it is just disrespectful. my mother always said to me Erik you should not wear your hat inside the house. and I always said why? and she said cause the little demons will grab you in your sleep with your hat and burn you with it. so I don't think it is right. maybe just maybe my mother was lying to me.

If you are comfortable with it, just enjoy it. I wear one when I go to bed. Keeps me warmer all night. I find artificial heat uncomfortable and it dries up my throat. When visiting someone take it off and then ask if they mind you wearing it as you find it more comfortable. Anyways, we are way more at home than visiting so can put up with the temporary discomfort. As far as losing one's hair I also think it's just a superstition. I'm 60 and still have my hair.

This is just moral point of view. I used to wear cap very often before, but when I go to someone's house, If he is adult, I will take It off, but If you are at teen, or friends company, I don't think It is a big deal to stay with It.
