Dreams.....or they're leading us somewhere?

Nietzsche says that the human kind can not handle the truth, therefor he(his mind) needs dreams, illusions to exist.Without dreams life can not be conceived.Scientists say that man can live without sleep, but can not live without dreams.Researches say that sleep is not necessarily required and that man needs to sleep just to dream. If someone is sleeping and not allowed to dream, that person would wake up in the morning tired, like he didn't slept at all.During the sleep ,they are certain periods of it:deep sleep and dream sleep. While you sleep,at the begining you fall into a deep sleep for 40-45 minutes from there continuing in the next stage, the "dreaming sleep",then sleep again without dreaming and after that the dreams appear again.Everything works in terms of a cycle in our psihomental affetctive-cognitive structure. I've also read about REM(rapid eye mouvement)that stands for the situation when a person is sleeping with his eyes closed but his eyes are constantly moving(like he can see something). When the person is deeply sleeping,his/her eyes remain motionless. The reason why i know all these stuff about dreams is because I'm very amazed of their presence, what do they mean and willing to find any documentation about it. What would you do if one day you would wake up and realise that everything is surrounding you is a dream?Take as an example a frog....we think about a frog as being disgusting, cute, ugly, etc, but in reality a frog is a frog...and that's it.This mark you're giving it too the frog ,it comes from our subconscious. That's why when you hear the word frog it makes you think about something disgusting. The wisemans use to say that you must see what is surrounding you, without leaving it to control you.Your dreams reflects what you really think. Even christianity says that "everything in this world is meaningless.A meaningless of vanities"(The Eclestiast).Jesus says that the truth, reality is somewhere up higher than we could reach, something more deep,to our Father. Alot of sources of different opinions but what do you think about this? Are your dreams meaningless for you?Do you a agree with me that, under certain limits,we can create our own reality?

I think it's a proven fact that humans need to dream to be healthy. Even if you don't remember that you dream, you do. To find the meaning of dreams you need to pay close attention to how you feel about the dream, the content of the dream in and of it's self seems to be personal. Many people who say they can tell you the true meaning of your dreams will say such and such a thing. ie: spiders, have this meaning, I feel it's much more important to find out how you feel about spiders before try to attach a special meaning to all spider dreams. Stress and frustration are often the meaning behind many dreams, your unconscience mind is finding release through the dreams. Sometimes we seem to have dreams that have special means. I can remember going through a special time and then thinking I had dreamed that exact thing a long time before it happened. I have no explaination for that.

Most of my dreams are meaningless. What i gathered from some of the books i've read is that the wishes that we subconsciously repress when we are awake are manifested in our dreams. Our mind tends to fulfill (or maybe, let out) our repressed wishes through dreams. They're like paintings. A painting is an expression of an artist's thoughts, ideas, convictions, emotions, etc. I think it's the same with dreams. They are abstract representations of what we're thinking and feeling. They somehow reflect what's going on inside us. I don't really pay much attention to most of my dreams since I often forget them as soon as i wake up, but there are some exceptions. I've had several dreams which i clearly remember until now and which i consider are more that just "expressions". Dreams may also be God's way of communicating with humanity. If we read through the Bible, we will see that God spoke to Abraham, Joseph and Jacob through their dreams. (The story is in Genesis). There are also some accounts in the New Testament where God used dreams to speak to people.

The state in which you dream is called the R.E.M Rapid Eye Movement. It is like a trance. Everyone trips, we need this. In A Dream, everything is possible, and this is the way we're supposed to live.
