As a popular food, 'Fresh-water Fish' is unique! It carries no substitution that everybody will agree! Costwise, it now sells at Rs.100/- ($2) per kg here at my place - a medium cost! What is the cost at your place? Do you like 'Fresh-water Fish' like me? Please discuss!!

I'm not really sure how much the fish cost here in the United States. I am not much of a fish eater other than Cod. I have not bought any of it for quite some time. I know it is expensive though.

My brother is a HUGE fisherman. He loves the freshwater. Personally, I like bay fishing on the Chesapeake. But for freshwater fish, I like trout, bass, catfish, perch, and I've even ate carp before. And I think tilapia might be a freshwater species, but I've never caught one. The carp have a weird skeletal structure, but they're tasty when seasoned properly. I'm not sure of the price because I don't buy freshwater fish. Saltwater fish are really expensive here, though.

hi mitraa fish of any kind really costs here in the US but I love trout'and catfish, but like I say they are pricey. but on the other hand I could hop on a bus, take an forty minute ride down to NewPort beach ca and get fresh ocean caught fish for really great prices like salmon, and tilaphia and it s so good too.

I don't really care that much for fish, so I don't have a clue what it cost.

hello mitraa, we have different varieties of fresh water fish and it costs between 80 pesos to up to about 200 pesos a kilo. there are many fresh water fish farms here and the restaurants are found sometimes just beside it. people here prefer pointing to the fish they want to eat from the tank. so you see the fish fresh, before it is cooked. isnt that amazing? ann
