What would you get with a 100 dollar gift card to a bookstore?

Let's say you got a 100 dollar gift card to your favorite bookstore. Barns and Noble, Half Price Books, Books-A-Million, Borders... whatever your favorite bookstore is. What would you get with that gift card? Would you go on a full-day shopping spree and grab whatever book peaked your interest? Or would you save it and buy books a few at a time? Would you even use it to buy books? Would you get journals, notebooks, cds, magazines, movies, or something else your favorite bookstore sells? My favorite bookstore is Barns and Noble. I would probably go on the full-day shopping spree and just have a stack of books to read for the next few months. I feel like buying the whole store whenever I'm there anyway, so with a $100 gift card I'd sure try. I probably wouldn't use it for anything but books. Maybe a journal. I like those.

Well, it would take a little more than $100, but I would get the OED, the big one!

This is no ordinary dictionary, for majors of English, this is the dictionary for us. This is OUR dictionary. The OED has it all.

Hey, I'm still a teenager and I love to read books! I've loved to read all through my teenage years. There's no age requirement or age limit on who can like to read.

I'll probably buy something that I could sell for cash. I'm not a big fan of books but should I need to read one I have many sources for it. So probably I'd go for buying and selling books.

I would primarily buy books, but maybe a couple of magazines, too. The books I would buy would be ones by my favorite authors. I own some of their books, but not all, so I'd try to get copies of as many of their books as I could. I really like Dean Koontz, Kay Hooper (her Bishop series), Dan Brown and Catherine Coulter (her FBI series), so I would buy more of their books. I only own a couple of books by each of them (the rest I borrowed from the library) and I'd love to eventually have full sets of their novels, and $100 would be a nice start.

I love to read and I have recieved gift cards to book stores before. It is always hard for me to decide what to buy, because there are a lot of books that I am interested in I am studying psychology at the moment and if I received a gift card to a book store I would probably buy some psychology books that can help me study for my exam in December. I would also be interested in buying some inspirational or motivational books or some new age books for instanse some books by Wayne Dyer who is my favourite author.

I would use it for a couple of $40 to $50 books I'm looking at to update my technology knowledge up to this millennium. I graduated with an Associate's Data Processing degree in 1987, when Windows 1.0 was just coming out, and I taught myself Windows up to 3.1, but then after that I got lost. Networks seem to be the big thing now, and if it doesn't work when I plug the things in and turn it on, I'm at a total loss at what to do next.

If I'm given a $100 gift card, I would spend it on a couple of things at the same time. If it can be spent on "sale" days, that would be great too, help save some money. There is one book I really want to get now. It is entitled Making it All Work by David Allen. He is a great motivator for procrastinators and getting organised. But I can't think of anything else to get, so I may spend the rest of the money next time when I want to get another book. I might spend it on magazines as well, those pertaining to fund management and stocks. Other than, I don't think I'd spend on journals. I used to be a teacher. My hubby is still teaching. We get loads of journals and pens of different colours. Stationery? We have sufficient of those. We both love books. Oh ya. I may get a guitar book for my hubby. It's his hobby.

Oh there is no doubt that I would use my money to purchase books from Borders. I always and I mean always see several books that I would like to buy from them. I would like to imagine that I would buy a book at a time but knowing all the wonderful choices they have I probably would spend all the money at one time.

I think I'm gonna buy some magazines on home decorations, or on cooking. I would also go for nursing text books, or medical books that could help me in my profession. CDs are also great to buy, especially if I'll purchase those with good songs, or movies perhaps.

For me a bookstore or library are my favorite places to be. I just love to read. I would stack up on James Patterson books and Geanalogies books. I would also buy a bunch of books for my 4 year old granddaughter. I would also look for good mystery books and autobiographies of famous people, which are my favorites.

I'll buy them books, business books! They are like manuals to me. They guide me in my daily business activities, and I learn new things from them, new ideas and they open me to new opportunities, and new worlds! Read, and a new world will open... an abundant world will open!
