more than once? I have. The pinky toe on my right foot. This time I was downstairs, helping my daughter clean up her play area. I stepped on a toy, and actually heard it before I felt it. Wow. It didn't swell or turn colors until the next day. Really hate that there isn't anything to be done. It's been a little over a week..still smarts when I am not careful on it.

Hi ersmommy. How's your toe doing now?
I'm fortunate enough to say that I've never broken a bone (knock on wood). My husband on the other hand has broken a few bones before, although never the same bone. He has however broken the same leg more than once. And he broke (as well as smashed) his big toe just last month. 4+ weeks later it's still swollen and purple. But at least he can walk around for longer periods now before it starts hurting.

Wow you must be brittle. I've stepped on dozens of toys and never broke a bone or even punctured skin, as far as I know.
I've only ever once had a broken bone.. that was my right thumb, when I was about 10. I decided to jump rope down some stairs, and of course fell.. not down all the stairs, just one, caught myself, but bent the thumb backward in the process. It healed just fine.

I injured my left wrist twice when i was a kid. I didn't really broke it. I think it was just sprained or something. I got them both from wrestling with cousins so it was my fault. :)

I have never broken a bone, and hopefully will never do so. I have had sprained hand and have been hit by a car and fell out of a tree but never a broken bone. I hope that you won't be breaking anymore bones.

Hey there, not good news about your toe and you have now done it twice so thats even worse, lets just hope it doesnt happen again.
I have never broken a bone however I do have a knee problem in that both times I have been pregnant, I have dislocated both my knees. I am told that due to hormones within the body when your pregnant it softens the bone and because my knee caps are oval shaped they are likely to dislocat during pregnancy.
It was nightmare and it took just as long to hill then a broken bone so no comfort that it would heal quick either.
