Hi Friends,
If you were given a chance to live in two places City or Countryside... which place you will choose...??
City - will have more rush - no peace - but easy availability of what we need at any time...
Countryside - will have no rush - more peace - we cannot say the easy availability of what we need at any time...
Which place will you choose to live throughout your life...

I have spent the majority of my life living in small country towns, so the decision is an easy one for me to make. I am definitely ready to move to - and live in - the city. I realise that people are insanely rushed in the big smoke, and that life in general is bound to be significantly more hectic; however, the opportunities that the countryside has to offer are too few for my liking.
I plan to move to the city in the very near future and highly doubt that I'll return to the countryside for anything other than a holiday or to visit family and friends.

I currently live in the country and I like it that way. I live in a small town and its very nice a peaceful here. I hate busy loud cities. I lived there as a young child but most of my childhood I have lived in small towns closer to the country and that is what I fell in love with. I could never go live in the city now to much moise like I said before.

I would like to live in a city as i frequently travel to countryside areas on weekend. It works great.I would like to live countryside but these areas here lack many facilities including water shortage in summer season and electricity shortage is daily thing.Thats the reason i wont live there. If there are all facilities available then i dont mind going there and living there Arun.

I have lived in the city and been used of busy street where people work 24/7. I am a city girl who is fond of seeing big malls, sky scraped buildings, going to nearby markets and where hospitals, churches and schools are just around the corner.
For me, the setup for such a place like that has advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantages are polluted environment and noise pollution. But the advantages are also many like i can go to places very accessible and if there is emergency, hospitals are just near too.
I also like to live in a countryside where the environment is better because less pollution. But sometimes, the places to go to are quite farther and the stocks to buy are limited. I love to cook, but when I can't locate the ingredients I wanted to buy for example for my western dishes, I cannot get that to local markets or provincial grocery. I can only locate it to city malls and groceries. If God will give us a place, probably I would like a countryside but to live in the central or main so that I can avail of what is in the city type kind.

I have been living for a long time in country side, it's very nice , calm and cool there. The nature's beauty and everything to enjoy, but the main problem is availability of some goods, facilities etc is very hard. Now i live in a city i don't like the city life but everything is readily available. I think it's better live in city and go to the country side for vacation

I've had the chance to live in both, and I would choose to live in the countryside throughout my life. Right now, I'm living in the city because my job is here. But I don't have plans of staying here for good. Once I've saved enough, I would go back to the countryside. Life is a lot more simple there. The air is fresh, the people are more friendly, and there is less fuss.

Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. When I am young, I think it is better for me to live in the city as everything will be much more convenient. I don't have to spend longer time on the way to work. If I am old and retired, I will love to live in the countryside because it is time for me to relax. The air will be fresh in the countryside. And it is peaceful and good for me to live.
I love China

I love the Country for many reasons, it allows privacy, nature closeness, and is very hard work, so that we stay fit.

I've lived almost my entire life in the city and I like the lifestyle that we have here. We definitely don't leave in the heart of the city, but we live close enough to everything that it is convenient. I personally couldn't imagine living in the country because I am too used to all the convenience of being able to just go to the store when that idea crosses my mind. I really couldn't imagine things to be any different.

I'd rather live in the city. Countryside has simpler life and it's peaceful but there'd be no challenge in that. It'll just make you lazy and blunt. In the city, you'll be more alert and sharp in your thinking cuz of the work. It's good to take a break from time to time, though. But it's not good to permanently live in a countryside for me.

ood Morning dear Arunmails , well i was borned and raised in Roumania , Bucharest ( The capital of Roumania , so its a ville/City ) soi lived for twenty years in a City and recently i mooved in Belgium to Country Side , well i cann say that it has both its ups and downs , but if i ware to choose i would surely pick Country side , Why ? People in Country Side are soo simple and more wishing to help you without having a fear that he might have a plan behind he's kindest , its quite and smell great , smell like nature , people here smile more often , talk to each other and Say Good Day when you pass By , they have the time and they know how to take advantage of it , in here i have my own garden and i grow some vegetables , i'm getting my meat directly from a farm and its soo much more tasty and better then what i used to serve in Bucharest , off course i cann find in Bucharest too the same type of meet , but only in the Expensives restaurants , i can't say that i had made alot of friends here but i am soo much more peacefull and calm , dont need to worry about been mugged for a Mobile Phone or a Gold Chain and the most greatest thing i love about country side its Its natural Lakes where i go fishing every now and then when i get the time , off course that i work in a City , not far from my small town , at 50 Km from it , and i burn of desire of getting back Home and leave that junky and ugly City .
Have a nice day dear Arunmails

Well, I've lived in the city for a LONG TIME. New york, and moved to Long Island.
Only because now I can actually walk out ONTO my PORCH. and just stand there comfortably. There are no Kids messing around, LOUD noises arent around, unless its the firehouse. But where I live now kinda reminds me of Dennis the Menace enviornment. And definetely better than that Blade Triology environment I came from.
I LIke it here AlOT, and hope to be here for a while. So go for peace, make sure you do it for the right reasons. Especially if you just want to be you and your family, you'll grow closer. Its awesome. So where do you guys live now, and how much better is it than where you were before?

hi arunmails I live in the suburbs and love it here,as I am close to a number of places and not in top notch health which you need to be elderly and live in the country.country living is great for those who can walk fast, run fast etc, but I cannot do that anymore. I know the limits to what I can physically do and stay within them. suberbs are fine for me a little country and a little city combined.

I prefer to live in the countryside, provided that basic public facilities are available--water, electricity, garbage disposal, etc. The calm atmosphere there allows me much time to think things through and not simply rush through things often without thinking things deeply enough.

As a city boy . I prefer to live in cities rather than country side, Even though the country side is pollution free , i prefer city. Well the thing is that i get biren in country side. No cable, internet . These are things which i require nowadays . In city , you can go watch movies with your friend , go shopping in malls , Surf the net . etc . This is just my opinion.
