Well just two days ago, i am really surprise when i found my blog has been suspended by my web hosting. After complaining via chat and phone to the hosting company, finally we make a deal. They found that one of my wordpress plugin causes the server to work too hard. So i end up turn of the plugin. Now my web can up and running again. By the way, my web is johanfirdaus.zo-ka01.com
Do you ever have the same problem?

I have just received a warning from dreamhost about some files I had on the host. They think they were illegal files (actually house episodes) and just told me to delete them and so I did. After that I haven't had any problem with my host. By the way dreamhost is an awesome hosting provider and they got some real low rates so if anyone are looking for hosting try them.

O i see, well house episode? Do you mean a movie file? Anyway, where is dream house located. And what kind of packet did u take. Also is it expensive to rent a hosting there? And did they are have a package to help me migrate my data and blog to their hosting? Thanks my friend for you valuable information.

10 Dollars for two years? The site said the hosting cost $8.95 / month. Is there any other package than that? If $8.95 / month, i don't think i will use it since it is too expensive. My current hosting only cost about $18 /year and another $10 / year for domain. So it cost me $28 / year in total.
But off course that is with many limitation, which i think i never suprass anyway. Where could i found a way to get a $10/year package hosting in dream host, and what is it limitation?
Thanks.

The host cost me around 10 dollars for two years of hosting and two domain names. I don't know if they can help you with the migration but maybe they will. The good thing about dreamhost is that they are very popular and it's not hard to find on the internet coupon codes to get real good deals. But the best offers comes directly from them. My recomendation is, if you want to host at dreamhost wait until they have an offer and take it. They usually do once a month so just keep returning to www.dreamhost.com

Oh Yeah. . . My blogsite which I bought from Wordpress was once suspended for merely linking one of my articles to a paid blogging site ..
Since then, I did not purchase any domain anymore.
It was frustrating.

O i see, well yes, it is really hurt get suspended by our hosting company. I still feel the pain you know. I want to be mad, but there is nothing i can do. But still, i will not giving up my blog. I think i just search a way now, to monitor my traffic. WP-STAT was banned by my hosting. For now i use AW-STAT, the stat that are include in CPANEL. Although it is not as good as WP-STAT. But i think it is quite enough for now.

Never happened to me with any of my sites, but im aware that sites do get suspended for plugins and various bits of code. Usually it is because an addon or piece of code specifies that ports on the server should be opened or unsupported software is run which triggers a security precaution.
There are many hosts which only allow basic html etc, whereas others will give secure access config, SQL and other extras. I don't have any limitations on my own sites and generally follow the same route with client sites, as its handy to have for future development.
I did start a blog years ago, but considering there are so many ways to keep in touch and post news etc i got rather bored of it and ceased it.

Well thanks for your information. I already bloggin for almost 3 years now. It is more of a hobby since i don't really care if no body actually read it. Though it would be fun if some one actually read it. My Host actually give a freedom of what i do with my site. They never backlist any plugin and stuff. At least that what happened for the first two years i join them. But know, i think they server cannot keep up any more. Maybe they have too much account, and the server still the same. Anyway, thanks for your information.

I'm glad that they were able to get your issues taken care of. I personally have never had a problem with any of the websites that I use (including my blog). I think that my family is very blessed to have an IP provider that is very stout. We've never had a problem with any website at all. There has never been anything that I've done that has froze up our service. Hopefully now that you've gotten this sorted out it won't happen again.

I've had that happen, but not because of a plug in. Basically I couldn't afford the host so i ended up unable to pay. Therefore, my account was suspended for failure of payment. But, like you I was able to resolve the payment issue and sadly I no longer have the website. I was unable to continue to pay for it. If I ever come into money again I may reconsider, but not now.

Well if that is the reason, then i don't really mind because the fault is ours. Unable to pay mean we end our deal with the host. So i don't think it is wrong. Well, actually where do you rent you host and what is the name of the host. Also tell me the price and the package u take. Thanks.

Well it's good that you managed to reach a compromise with the hosting company so you could get your blog running again.
I've actually never heard of this before, it must have been some plugin that you installed there!

Well it is called WP-STAT, and it is a wordpress plug in. I never thought it will causes problem, but well, it is. So although i found that the plugin really helpful to me, especially for monitoring my traffic, but at the same time i think it make my blog work more slow. Now i let go the plugin, it load more faster. But still, i prefer to keep using the plugin if there is other alternatif. Thanks for responding.
