Flip flops or Shoes?

I prefer flip flops =) I like letting my feet breath (weird I know) lol and I think it's just easier to slip on a pair of flippies rather than putting socks and shoes on.

Of course when I am on the beach I will rather wear my flip flops. However when I will walk or go on shopping I will wear something comfortable since for sure I'll stand for much longer of time. Sometimes I wore a pair of shoes or even my flip flops. It depends on where will I go :)

I love wearing flip flops all the time. If I could wear them year around it would be great. However, if I'm shopping at a mall and will be there for a long time then I will wear sneakers. If I will be in and out of the mall then I will wear my flip flops. Flip flops or sandals are so much more comfortable to me then having your feet stuffed into a pair of shoes all day.

Preferably I would rather wear shoes when shopping or walking, and flip flops when I'm at the beach, river, or lake. I like to feel the sand between my toes. But if you get sand in your shoes, its almost impossible to get out a lot of the time. Besides, if you wear flip flops in public, your feet might stink that day... or your toenails might not be clipper or might look nasty. People might look at you in disgusting ways for that. But yes, shoes for walking and shopping, flip flops for the beach.

i'm comfortable of using shoes it's a way of formality.

On the beach, I prefer flip flops for sure, it is just annoying to wear other types of shoes, since sand will get into them and so on. And I guess flip flops are actually more comfortable otherwise too, now that you mention it. But I don't wear flip flops everywhere, because I think in some cases, they are just not that appropriate...

Hi junellen, it's not suitable to wear a pair of shoes when roaming along the beach. I prefer to wear flip flops as I don't have to worry my shoes may get wet. I had my two days holidays at the beach resort few weeks back. My roommate and I had a stroll along the beach in the early morning. We took photos standing in the water, sitting on the huge rocks, writing on the sand, etc. My companion was not feeling free to do this as she didn't want her shoes to get wet. She even refused to take off her shoes for she worried that salty sand and water might spoiled her shoes when she put them on again later I enjoyed doing what I wish as mentioned above just dumping the flip flops aside Have a nice day!

i find that flip flops are not all that comfortable or good for your feet/legs (especially your knees!) but if you are young (am not so much) you should wear what you want. i tend to wear a lot of ballet flats in the summer (also not good for my knees).

i wear flip flops pretty much everywhere except to formal events. i hate wearing shoes as they're so uncomfortable. when i go to the beach i just go barefoot.

It depends on the place..i always wear shoes when i go shopping so that i could be more presentable and i wear flip flops when im at the beach coz its more comfortable.=)

I love flip flops..i wear almost all year round...shopping..walking...at home..everywhere:)
