I'd still prefer to listen to my slow, sentimental, corny 70' and 80's music over Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas...lol. although i like them both. i don't want noisy and loud music at all from the past five year till now.

Soft melodies rather than fast numbers are the ones that I prefer to listen.

5 years ago, my favorite type of music hasn't changed much. I like Rage Against The Machine and I still like their music until now. But there had been new bands that came into main stream that I've just known of like Breaking Benjamin, Audioslave, and others. I had came to like these bands as well but their genre is more or less the same as Rage Against The Machine so it hasn't change much regarding my taste.

Hello karlle,
I am 44 year old and just went to my first concert with my daughter who is 18 years odl. We saw Never Shout Never with Chris Drew her heart throb. It was her first concert too. We to Allentown Pa. at the Alligator Cafe. It was very cool concert there were 4 others band before them It was called AP tour. I saw Summerset and this band will be toring with Talor Swift later on in the summer. They were very good and could understand the lyrics. Chris Drew from Never Shout Never sings from the heart and relates well with teenagers. He is like 19 years old only been on the scen for last 4 years.
My favorite music is Pop, Country and classical. I do not like rap music. My taste have not changed over the years from college days today. The 1980s music bring back alot memories for me.
Thanks and have a Great day
Sincerely unique16

Yea obviously my musical taste change. I like all types of song but some kinds of song are very fond of mine. Five years ago i like pop and solo types song. Now at present i like DJ songs, love songs, rap songs, romantic songs and some sort of solo songs also. Five years ago I have not much interest to listen songs but now a days i am too much addicted in listening song. Listening song is a good habit and it can refresh our mind also.

Yes my musical taste has changed a great deal in the past 10 to 15 years for me, because when I was a teen I liked more pop and R&B music, but now I enjoy a more wide rage of music such as alternative music, and classic 80tys music and more differnt styles, I think my taste have matured a bit since years ago, I still like a bit of pop but I like other styles too, you can hear my favorites in my profile.

Well,if you ask me on that,I really have to think about it for a while. You see, there are so many kinds of music, and i'd like to listen to different kinds of music under different kinds of mood.Love songs are just so good to have a listen, when my mood is smooth. However most of the time I prefer to listen to DJ,rock or so.It makes me happy and feel good to do works.

hell0 there! I am a very big fan of music and I can listen and listen to all kinds of music, even classical, which many people don'tprefer. the only condition to listen to some genre is that I really like the song that I am listening to- the text, the melody, the rhythm. well, now my favorite two genres are break dance music and house music, which I mostly listen to. but 5 years ago I have listened to very different kind of music which is traditional for my country and it is also in my language, but with the years I really realized that this genre is actually something so stupid and "brain-washing" that I stopped listened to it and I can say that it is the only genre of music that I dislike and never listen to, just because there is no sense in the texts of those songs, the rhythm is something disgusting and also only people with no brain in the head listen to that kind of music and I don't want others to think that I am that kind of person :)
well, I also listen to many retro and rock songs that I really like, but all of them are from the late 80' and the early 90's there are also some newer, like tht first album of Evanescence, which songs I am listening at this moment. I can surely say that the songs from the past are really something more qualitative and something that worths much more than the present commercial songs which many people like and listen to!
Pop is really a good genre! R& B I don't like that much :)

I like the same type of music that I used to like 5 years back and do not think it would have any chance of change in the future too. I love old bollywood romatic music and I keep humming it durind the day and it does lifts my spirits if I am depressed and feel lonely.

I grew up listening to country music, and I still listen to it on occassion. I'm not too picky as far as music is concerned, I like listening to everything, whether it classical, jazz, blues and classic rock. I like listening to everything, for the most part, except for rap.

I love pop music, 5 years ago and now. It has not changed since I was a kid in fact. I tend to sway a bit to the left or to the right though through times but I can rightfully say that it has been pop music that has given me the most enjoyment.
