hello friend! well, beggars are people who we see every single day out there on the street and in the big cities they are even more and we see them on every corner. I don't live in a big city, but every day I go at the university I see at least two beggars who stay on the same place everytime and sometimes i really feel sorry for that people, because they look so sad and so miserable. we know that many of them are fake beggars, I mean they are not so poor and miserable as they look, but I can already recognize people like that. well, I don't give them some petty cash every time just because i don't have some coins every time when I am out and I just can't give them some bigger amount just because I myself need money for my education and I also feel need some times, well not that great need like them :) the most of the time I try togive something or if I don't have I ask some of my friends to give if I am with friends of course, because as I always have said, we won't actually get richer or poorer if we give those people some petty cash, but we will definitely feel better after that, because as we all know people feel happy when they do something good and nothing good stills unpaid, as some old people like to say! don't you agree Umadper? Do you also like do "donate" some petty cash to beggars or you just pass away when you see person like this? I know that many people prefer to avoid beggars, becaues some of them are afraid of attack, some just dislike them and some others, who I really can't understand and don't admire even despise the beggars, because as they say, beggars are people who are the junk of the nation and they are too lazy to find a job, but not all of them have the possibility to find a job, just because of many reasons. so that's why I really hope you don't despise those people and also that you help them sometimes

a small amount of money can boost the morale of a boy beggar but i don't know with female beggars. if they receive no money they will be depressed and have trouble coping with life. it is not that difficult to distinguish between a good beggar and the fake beggar.

it depends of the beggar, some do it professionally (organised by syndicate) others works as scammers and others are legit (truly needs help)..based on experience and instinct i know when to give or spare a penny or more.

If the begger is a deserving person like handicapped, blind or sick, then I will give him/her some money. If I see somebody very weak and hungry, I get them some food. But I never give anything to able bodied persons.

If I have money I will give liberally to beggars. It is not that I want to encourage begging. But we generally do not know the conditions under which he/she is begging. One of my colleagues also gives very liberally. We top Hotel waoters generously. Why need we tip them? They must be well paid, at least at high-fkying joints like Pizza Hut where I am sure those guys will be paid handsomely. But then we want to show in front of thise fleecers that we are moneyed! For once let's give without expecting anything back! So, I give money to beggars.

I also think about this. Some beggars are far more stronger than me yet they beg. I am somewhat pissed off when I see these kind of people. I want them to work and not rely on the alms given to them. I think they are just lazy to work. However, when I see old beggars with some deformities, I never fail to give them alms. Sometimes, I even ask them to go to our house so I could give them our old clothes, shoes, and other stuffs...
