It should be so simple. Eat less, exercise more, and all those extra pounds will disappear. Yeah right, These days, the endless debates on the best way to lose weight can weaken the resolve of even the most determined dieter.

I know I have been through the same thing. But I have found a helpful tip. It seems that calcium and vitamin D taking daily can help you lose the weight faster. If you look at my profile, it has the website. It gives all the info completely free. But it lets you know exactly how much to take each day and other things like yogurt you can eat that has what you need. Not only that, it talks about a lot of other things too. Ear infections, removing build-up in the arteries. You know things to help keep the body completely healthy. Also if you like I can tell you several simple exercises that take about 15 minutes a day to do. I saw great improvement and they are simple. Something else to think about. Don't diet, eat healthy. Changing your lifestyle choices means you plan on sticking to it.

No diet! No false exercise! I just walk about 10 kilometers a day. Not all at once, of course, but in bursts you might say. You have to be "going somewhere" and "coming back", in other words there has to be a reason for it. Try walking instead of taking the car or bus whenever possible until it becomes a habit. Be proud of walking! Tell everyone you meet that you are trying to get rid of this (while patting your stomach)! Make excuses even to yourself. For example, the supermarket two kilometers away is cheaper than the one in the next street. Pretend that you are in a hurry - walk fast! When you master this, you wont need a diet.

That is fine if you live close to town, or if you live in town but some of us, live way out in the country and that makes it impossible for us to walk places.

I agree... there seem to be endless "best ways" to lose weight. If any of these ideas worked, none of us would have to fight weight. I think the simplest is probably the best. Eat less, exercise more. Get plenty of rest and fresh air.

Count the calories as you eat. It’s a good idea to have an idea of the calories that most food items have. If it is a packed thing then the label is sure to have the calories that the substance has.

I am diabetic and have MS. Walking is out for me. I have lost a TON of weight by watching what I eat. I don't count calories. I don't substitute like weight watchers promotes. I count carbohydrates. 15g of carbohydrates equals 1 carb. I shoot for 5 carbs max at a sitting, and a couple hours between snacks. I have gone from a size 50 down to a size 42 (just about 40) pant size. My wife is on this lifestyle and she is down inches. She is walking more so her body is trading fat for muscle, so she isn't noticing weight loss yet. She lost thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months though at the beginning. She now is able to wear clothes that were just a faint dream of wearing two years ago. Simple diet. And with all the free food, you are feeling full all the time. It's also healthy. Another benefit.
