hi annshie, i have a few close friends,i feel all my close friends are special friend to me,i treat them like that,but i donot know what they think,but i have less friends since long time,but all these friends are since 20 years,some are more than 40 years friends,but especially i have one classmate friend is there he is since from my school days,still we are meeting twice or thrice in the week,if not i will contact him over phone,we are family friends also,have a nice day

hi annshie143, You will only know if a friend is true to you if he is always with you through thick and thin. I have met a lot of people and some of them stay and some of them go. I can say that I have many friends but if you will ask how many of them are considered true, I can say I only have a few. On our journey through life, we have to meet different kinds of people. Be they are true or not, one thing is for sure, we can get a lesson from them. I have different experience in which people just go with me because I am popular and I have good grades. They always seat beside me and very sweet to me. But then, when I no longer not knowledgeable to one academic subject, they go to other people who is intelligent on that subject and make friends with them. It makes me feel bad about them but as I grow up, I learn that there are really people like that who will go with you because they can get something from you but if they won't get anything, they will just throw you away like a candy wrapper. BEcause of that I learned the importance of valuing true friends. They are very rare to find. That is why I always tell to myself that once I find one, I will treasure him.

yes, there are friends like that. they are there for you, love you, support you, aren't jealous of you. they are closer than a brother. if you find that person cherish them because they are hard to find.
