Okay, my children went to see the latest movie Avatar I believe last summer and loved it. They got to see it in 3-D. Unfortunately, while it was in theaters my husband and I didn't get the opportunity to go. However, when the kids told me about how wonderful the movie was, I promised that when it came out on DVD I would break down and purchase it. That was the best thought I had!
The movie Avatar was amazing. The graphics are simply incredible and gosh, it really makes you feel as if you are walking among the different life forms on the planet of Pandara.
If you have seen Avatar, what did you like about it? If you haven't you must rent it, you won't be disappointed.
This movie will really make you think about what we have done with our environment, in many ways, I think maybe each of us in some way need to take the time to find ways of helping Mother Nature.
Enjoy!

Didn't see it in 3D, but I enjoyed it. Weak plot/dialog since it was stolen from other books, but beautiful to watch.

I hope you get a chance to see the rest of the film. It is well worth watching. My kids have now watched it several times since we purchased it.
I am still very interested in seeing what the next one for Avatar will be about. My understanding is that it will be based around the ocean. I guess we will all see.

It is an amazing film you will enjoy it. It is amazing the gambit of emotions that you will go through as you watch this amazing movie. I was actually shocked at the points when I cried during the film. I honestly didn't think I would, but it does pull at your emotions a lot. I hope you get to enjoy the movie for all that it is worth.

I loved Avatar! I saw it in 3D too. I watched it again this past weekend at a friends house. They have one of those cool lcd 70 inch tv's and guess what...it was so clear it almost looked 3d. Amazing!

The bigger the screen the better off you are for a movie of this nature. I am really excited to see what other movies are liable to come out that may be just as good on the graphics as Avatar. It is so amazing what can be done with computers these days.
The one thing I was thinking about is all of the blue and green screen work that had to have gone into this movie in order to make sure that the characters were more realistic.

Avatar was one of the best movies I've ever seen. It had super cool special effects and the concept is the next big thing since star wars by george lucas, lord of the rings, and pirrates of the carribean and the matrix ofcourse.
I saw avatar in 3D and then at home twice and I still haven't had enough.

I actually read recently that James Cameron is planning a sequel to Avatar. This actually got me to thinking about what he could do. From the little bit of information I was able to gather, it looks like it could be about Ocean life or something to that affect. Makes you wonder what angle he will be using for it.
