Hi umadper, I am a vegetarian by choice. :) No - I dont have any opinions about others preferences, as long as they dont force that food on me. :) I would even cook it for them, provided they dont ask me to eat it. :)

Once my vegetarian friend disgusted seeing me have chicken asked me how you eat a living creature. I said "Its not living anymore! It's fried!" Ok, no offense, that's a joke.
On a serious note, I have a simple answer to vegetarians. According to science and religion, plants are considered as living organisms. So if you question non-vegetarians of eating living things, then mind you people, even you are eating living things.
Also many nutritive values cannot be provided by plants alone. Plus non-vegetarian food tastes good, you can't question more than half of the world who are having non-vegetarian food!

I totally agree with you. Plants are considered as a living organism. So technically nobody is a pure vegetarian. :D One of my friends made a nasty comment when I was having my favorite chicken curry with garlic rice. She said it smells like crap. Honestly, I didn't appreciate it and she was loud enough for the others to glare at her angrily. You should respect other's sentiments and at least be considerate enough not to make faces or pass any nasty comments when someone is eating the food you are forbidden to eat.
