I think, days by days is getting boring more and more. today, I seldom update status. Not like few months ago, I updated status almost every two hours. . I always get many comments to every status I made ( my best record is 100 comments). But today, beside I not only get few comments, but also I'm always blank to update my status. I have no idea any longer. What about you, mylotters, do you think that facebook is still interesting? or maybe you have the same feeling like I do? let's share about it. and happy mylotting!

Honestly? I hang out in Mylot more often than facebook. I only check my facebook every hour or so to see whether there are msges from my friends. People usually just play games and more games in facebook, like Farmville. I do play chess on it though, that one is interesting enough hold my attention for a few hours. As for status updates, I don't really do that even the first time I set up my account. I just comment on people more, I prefer to keep what I'm doing private rather than announce it to all my friends =p

sometimes it's ridiculous when sharing everything with other people (even we don't know at all some of them..!), but sometimes we need to express ourselves outside of our real life. some people said that we could be recognize by every status we updated, so everything we wrote on facebook, describe who we are. and other people said that facebook triggers our narcissist side..

haha. I'm still active on facebook. I have good friends and we like to have chat both through chatting box or via comments. but I dunno, days by days, it's getting boring. I like to read another status, but I have no interest to update my status anymore.

I actually do still enjoy the time that I spend on facebook. I've never been one of those people that updated my status on a regular basis, but I have kept my status updated from time to time. For me, it isn't about how many comments I get on my status or who is paying attention to me, I like it because I am able to see pictures of my best friend's children since they moved several hundred miles away and it is also about having something to do to kill a little bit of time.

I update my status if there's something funny or interesting passing on my mind. sometimes it's not about my life or my problem but it's more about something I want to discuss or to share. but if I had a serious problem in my life and don't know where to go, I wrote it on my wall. hearing sympathy from my best friends really relief me..and ya, when we're so bored with our daily activities, go to facebook sometimes could make us little 'busy'..

The longer I had it and used it, the more I realised it was a massive waste of time and utterly pointless. Eventually, people become less and less interested in having conversations with you and you are bombarded with useless, annoying notifications that you couldn't care less about And what's all this competition about who can get the most bloated friends list? Pretty dumb if you ask me

haha..it's truly ridiculous for me if we go to facebook just for having competition with other whose friends are the most..LOL..I never this thing before cos for me why I go to facebook is just because I want to find my old friends, then we could be connected each other every time. but, ya, sometimes it's boring. i keep staying on facebook cos I don't wanna lose my friends..:)

Facebook is still interesting for me cuz i get to chat with friends and ask how they are currently and what they're doing. I'm not really into playing the games there cuz they merely bore me. I just use facebook to communicate with friends and other people that i know.

I'm just like you, front..I only use facebook for keeping my contact with my friends and relatives who are far from my place. I can get their update condition by reading their status or from pictures they uploaded. I also don't play any games on facebook, beside I'm not too good on playing games, I'm afraid of being addicted..:)

Yep, you'd better be afraid of getting addicted to those. My brother just couldn't get enough of Facebook games that he spends too much on internet cafes playing Facebook games.

so you have ways to enjoy on facebook. i use facebook to get in touch with my friends and relatives who are away from me. and I don't know why I'm not interested at all in playing games or any applications. maybe because I don't have enough times for that..

I am not interested in Facebook. First, I think it is a little complicated although its design seems to be simple. Second, Facebook is banned in my country. So whenever I want to visit it, I have to use a software to break the Great Fire Wall so that I can access to it. It is not so convenient. Due to it, many of my friends are not active in Facebook and therefore it means nothing if I am active there. Now I only use my Facebook account to finish some tasks. I love China

what..??! facebook is banned in your country? it's quite shocked knowing this. may I know why does your country ban facebook? which I knew is that facebook is banned by some companies but not by a country. it's wondering me.. the good side is that you don't need to spend your time by showing to other people about your activities, your family faces, your feeling, etc cos it's sometimes boring me..

I am not at all addicted to the Facebook, but certainly I like to be on Facebook.Frankly speaking,I am quiet new to Facebook,so I cannot feel any addiction right now..As a beginner I find it a bit complicated. In fact,I heard many things about this site and most of my old friends have joined fackbook in the recent time and so it is becoming the only way to stay in touch with this friends..I like using some social networking sites, especially the Facebook, to say in touch with the people whom I know personally and are not so near to me at this moment.. But I just follow some norms, just to maintain some ambiguity as other users of this sites may cause trouble,if I disclose all my facts. The sites that I regularly use are Facebook and Orkut and both of this are social networking sites and are not paying..But using this sites is really a fun as always as I can share photos and other information through messages and can also share scraps with the acquaintances. It is very helpful in keeping contact with the people I rarely come across these days.Apart from it,I also play Farmville,it is a silly game, though, and do a lots of chatting. It is indeed a great site, but not as great as Mylot. The earning aprt is its greatest attraction.

it's good for you if you are not addicted to facebook. cos when you are addicted to it, you'll spend much of your time on it and you'll lose your important times because of it (i ever been addicted few times ago and I don't wanna be like that anymore). so I just take facebook as an entertainment and never been thinking of it seriously. just like you, getting connected with friends which makes me still on facebook, and sometimes I buy something online via facebook. it's more exciting I think. and mylot? yeah, it's still number one..

I've actually never been one that updates my status on a regular basis and for a while I really wasn't using the site at all either. However, a few months ago my little sister got me addicted to playing one of the games and since she got me started doing that I am filling up way too much of my time on facebook. I know that it is silly to be addicted to a little game, but I honestly can't help myself with it.

Well, definitely still interested. In fact it's my homepage, and when I log in, I am logged in for the whole day, haha. Though I'm not updating my status every two minutes, I still check my wall from time to time and like some activities or status from my friends. I don't play games that much though. I am now hooked on Tumblr, and I find it very cool and interesting. I am also now being active on Twitter.

Actually, things have changed, LOL. I posted that answer a year ago, and in a year a lot of things can change. :) These days Facebook bores me; when there are no notifications, I log out immediately and switch to Tumblr. I use it though to stalk or search for people. That's the downside of Facebook, people can bash you anytime they want because they're braver online. My advice is be careful what you post, because they might take it differently.

haha..ya, you're right. I started this discussion about a year ago. then I stopped playing mylot so I was so late responding your comment.. the only social network I know in Fcaebook. and I don't want to try another cos actually I don't have much time on internet (and I hate having many passwords cos I have bad memory..) yup, sometimes I also take something on facebook seriously. I even almost crushed on someone on facebook (I'm married), cos we get in touch too often. what a bad effect from facebook..

wew..you have so many activities on social network then.. actually I'm not as active as you are but I quite enjoy facebook today. I almost give up on facebook cos sometimes I have something bad on it like I don't like what my friends said about me or when there's someone mock one another. it doesn't comfort me. but when I began to enjoy buying something online, I enjoy facebooking again. and it's like having new motivation in doing it..

I think I feel the same as you, thats why lately I seldom update my status. I think most of my friend feel the same way too, because if I browse Facebook, they status is not always updated too. The only think that I see is updated from online store, which is i not really interest to. I think after i join Facebook, i not really interest to interact to people in real life too, because i already know them by they status they update. I think thats why make me boring with Facebook now.

yeah, I think it's normal for all kinds of social network sites like facebook. yesterday people rushed to friendster, and on the next day they turn to facebook. maybe when there's a new social network published, people will rush to it too cos they are curious to try and feel it. it's just like a life cycle I think, one comes and one goes..

I still use Facebook, i see it as a tool not to post useless statuses on trivial things but rather to keep yourself updated of friends and family. Upcoming events and other things like that. I'm not addicted to Facebook unlike some people, i just use once a day or so, spending not more than an hour keeping up to date with recent news. It is a useful tool as many people are using it and the numbers are still continuing to grow. i do not find any fun in Facebook unless talking to my friends or something but more importantly, i see Facebook as a socializing tool and not a tool that brings joy and amusement.

I don't go on Facebook every day, but go there quite a lot. I find it is a good place to promote my referral business and often chat about the discussions I am having on myLot, and leave my referral URL of course as there is a chance I amy get some referrals signing up. There are also other places I go to chat about what I am doing on line. I think that is the name of the game, to make friends, chat and then get some referral... _Derek

I joined facebook in August of 2009 I believe. I was obsessed with it for months and months. Starting about March or April of 2010 though I started getting bored. I actually went a week without logging on and usually I log on multiple times a day for hours at a time. I love chatting with friends but lately I guess I'm just tired of reading all the boring status updates. I hate when people change there status updates every few hours thats just to much info and no one cares. I like to write a status update once a day but lately I dont always have something interesting or funny to say so I just dont write anything at all. I go through all the status updates that my friends put up and comment on as many of them as possibe. I dont feel the need to be on facebook as much as I used to be but I do still enjoy it. It took me about 7 months of being on facebook constantly before I finally got over my addiction to it. I was obsessed in every sence I'm not kidding! Totally addicated. I would be out shopping thinking about what I could be missing on facebook while I was out. I felt I just had to rush home as soon as I was done and hurry and get on as fast as I could and go through the updates and see who was online to chat with. Now I have a cell phone but it doesnt have internet access. I wish it did that would be awesome. But most the people that I chat with online will text me on my phone when I am out anyway so I dont really need to sit at my computer to chat with them. My phone is a prepaid tracfone though so it gets expensive to text back and forth all the time.

yep..being on facebook everyday must be bored us..so I only log in to my account one in a day but not always. and I don't always update my status every time I log in to my account. I only check my friends status but I did it at glance and if there's a good status I just give it 'like'. and my favorite status is the funny one. I have some friends who are very funny so they often update their status by writing something funny. the status which give me a new info is also my favorite..

i only go to FB when there are email notifications of new message, or friend requests or something. but i do not spend a lot of time doing non-sense (sorry about that) applications, status update, etc. i have told it before in some of my posts, facebook is entertaining but not worth of spending a lot of time. i am still interested to see more of my old friends coming to join me at that site, but that is all, to have a contact with them. i still love it here. i won't stop mylotting.

I used to be like you. I would update my status constantly and pay really close attention to what everybody was posting. Now, I probably only update my status a few times a week and I don't look as closely at everything. I realized I was spending way too much time on Facebook. I do still like Facebook though because I like hearing about people's lives that I have lost touch with. I feel more connected to my friends because of Facebook.

yeah..why I'm still on facebook is because I have same reason as yours..I have many friends who stay far from my place. some of them live in a other towns or cities and even other countries. some of them are my close friends when I was in high school or college. when i was so bored with faceboook and I really want to leave it, I just remember them. I still want to know their news and condition, and only facebook which could make or relation with them not fading away cos it must be very costly making phone call to them. that's why I'm still on facebook..

I've never been too much into Facebook. MySpace is still my favorite. But I like Facebook because I keep up with my closest friends and it's still possible to get updates on what's happening at the crummy job where I used to work. One of these days, the company will be on Sixty Minutes for their evil ways. I also like Facebook because I'm getting in touch with friends I have not seen in ages. Every month I find an old friend or they find me and we can remember some great times together.

for me, my interest to facebook is up and down..sometimes I feel so bored with it but sometimes I really enjoy facebooking even I spend hours in one day. i like seeing photos of things for sold on facebook. you know that today there are some users of facebook use facebook to display their things like clothes, perfume, or even their second things to sell. because of it, I like buying something online via facebook. and it's enjoyable! that's why I still have interest to facebook (for your information, I started this discussion about a year ago when I hadn't had interest in buying something online, so I said that facebook was getting boring..)
