do you think you are clever ?

Sometime I am clever,then sometime I am stupid.I think everybady is clever and stupid.The difference: when the man is good at something,he is clever,but not,he is syupid.

Well I experience the same things too. I pass on tests that only some do. I was a scholar at school, one of the ten students in my class not to have a failing grade in college. The only person to make a program work in school for a project. I even was surprised to know that some of my classmates were intimidated by me. I say what did I do. At first I know I am better than others since schools always ranks students but I do not think I am that clever or intelligent enough because I know I am a bit lazy. But as I grow older I think it is better to tell your self that your are clever or smart to have self confidence to face people. But not become over confident that you try to think of others as people below you. Not that you can boast on people. I think being clever is being able to deal with different kinds of people in different situation. Being clever involves when to be confident and when to be humble.

it is difficult to define.i don't like the clever friends in life but the clever ones in working.there are some persons including me who have some complex characters.i don't think i can control them which depend on the circumstances aroud me from a kid to a lady.in total,clever is a kind of commen character.

well a lot of people tell im smart but lazy dunno if its the same for being clever. for me clever is street smarts or witty.

A clever person is one who knows what he is capable of and won't hesitate doing and know what he is not capable of and won't try doing. Me, I pass tests and examination easily. I get my job done not with very hard effort. But I am nothing close to clever. I just know the tricks to get the job done and that's it.

Most of us who respond to remarks that 'you are so clever' reply that they are not. However, there are those who admit that they are clever. Others are stupid except themselves. These people suffer from superiority complex. I believe you are clever.

I think that if others see you as a clever person, then you are indeed a clever person. However, if you think of your own self as a clever person, then you are not a clever person. Ever heard of the old saying "Self praise is no praise at all"? That statement is completely apt for this situation. Clever people are people who are humble, who use their cleverness in a quietly manner without expecting any attention for their achievements. That is my definition of cleverness.

well i hope i am. if you have what you say a glib tongue then you are clever indeed. there are a few people gifted with communicating with offhand ease. all people have shortcomings but we all have our strengths. that might just be yours :)

Sure, I have my faults like everyone else, that does not stop me from being unique, glamorous, and clever though. You are very brilliant yourself. Well, I think that all human beings are filled with faults and shortcomings, there is no one that is immune to that. However, I don't think that you have to be without fault to be clever. When I think of a clever person I think of someone that is quick witted, they are someone that is able to come up with a comment or a solution to a problem with no prior time to prepare what they offer. I think of a person that is able to think in a way that is different from the way that most people think, so I indeed think that you are clever.

Handling things cleverly is an advantage to a person -but those handling things will be only known to persons who handle. I feel we may be clever for ourselves,but our cleverness will be better know to the opposite person as he visualizes our work. Yes for my sake I am very very clever.

I don't know if there are different things to be considered someone or yourself 'clever'.As far as i'm concerned i think m clever in the way i handle things around me sometimes and sometimes i'm dumb for not handling things well upto my expectations.:)

I think when you ask people, most of them don't even realize how clever or smart they are because most people overlook the things that they're really good at. I wouldn't say I'm clever or smart but I would say that I'm average in between and I'm fine with that. Sometimes being too clever can be troublesome and it can cause you a lot of misunderstandings. It's always good to be humble, if you know you're smarter than the average. I think a clever person would be emotionally intelligent, knowing how to react differently towards different people, how to deal with situations regarding emotions, also knowing what and what not to say during certain times.

Yes. Pretty much, I seem to be able to grasp things faster than most people and I absorb knowledge like a sponge. This is countered by my procrastination though. This went on for a while and I just thought I was different from other people. I was extremely wrong though because as I became more lazy, the ability I used to have seemed so far away from now.

Other people look at me and sometimes say that I have a different way on looking at things. I can't deny that I do but, I don't see it as something impressive or amazing as they would say. For me, as I would see it, is just normal. Then again, since I know and I do such things most of the time, it becomes indeed normal for me yet, for those who don't do it that much, it is indeed amazing for them. Its the same with my own amazement on others when, to them, its simply something normal since they do it most of the time. What we consider amazing or something impressive, like being clever, to others would often be considered as ordinary to themselves while thigns that they consider as amazing or impressive would most probably be regarded as something usual or typical by those whom they are amazed by.

to me there is clever and smart. i am clever when handly somethings, smart not so much as you tell by my spelling. i think wise would fall under clever as well. but ive been told i am clever when it comes to dealing with people, as well doing certain things such as computers, and detailing
