when I am at home I do not care for my look. But when I go to work or to visit places I give attention to my look. I choose my dress, shoes and jewelries with care. I also give care to my make-up. I like to be noticeable with my outfit....I am considered as the most well dressed woman in my locality.

I also am the same. I grew up with my grandmother who was a socialite in her time and place. Til now, you could say that she is a fashionista. She never goes out of the house not completely made up. But at home, she doesn't really care how she looks. I think I got her habit. At home, I don't really care if I look shabby or what, as long as I am comfortable, but my grandma always told us that we should always fix ourselves before we leave home, because you'll never know who you'll see.

When I go to work, go into town to do some shopping, visit a friend etc I always think about what I am wearing, and I do my hair and put on make-up. Some people don't change their clothes if they are just going to nearby shop to buy something, but I always change my clothes etc when I am going away from the house. When I am at home I like to wear comfy clothes, but I don't like wear that kind of clothes outside the house, and I always put on some jeans or a dress when I am going somewhere.

I like most don't care when it's my day off. When I go to work I'm picky about things a lil bit. I'd like to be more detailed with what I wear provided I had the money, my kids would leave my things alone for me to justify spending the money in the first place.

Although I am a guy, I will try and make this as relative as possible. :-) Perhaps see if any women have had some similar experience. When I was younger and single, I used to take care of my self when I went out, a lot. I also went shopping many times, something I do not like at this point of my life, and have no interest to be "in fashion" besides buying the essentials. However, when I met my fiance and thereafter, I started paying a lot less attention to these things. I really get dressed up, on special occasions only. Sometimes I don't even care. I know women don't actually or usually, thing or act like this... but it had a great impact on me. It also had to do with personal experiences, bad psychological status, gaining weight and many other things affecting my life. But still, it was a 180 degree change on the matter. I know it's not fair to my fiance, so I am trying to make this part of myself better. Things are starting to line up, sorted out, and that definitely helps!
