on-line dating sites

Hello trucker!! I think online-dating is there for the purpose of dating. That's the bad thing about it because people are abusing those kind of things to get what they want. I don't know how to say this because it is has good things as well.

I'm not currently dating, as I am married. But my husband and I did meet online through a dating site. I can't remember which one now, it might have been Yahoo personals or Match.com. At any rate, the one thing about most of the better dating sites that I really didn't like is that you have to pay a monthly membership fee to actually be able to contact someone whose profile you like. I got around the monthly fee by "coding" my e-mail address into my profile. I intentionally spelled words wrong, and the letter that was wrong in each word was a letter in my e-mail address. I figured that if anyone was observant enough and smart enough to figure it out, then they were worth going on a date with. Sure enough, I got responses from 3 guys, went on dates with all of them, and married one of them. But I don't think that method would work for everyone, so it'd be really nice if there were some free dating sites that weren't completely trashy.

i havent been doing it long enough to give you any good feedback on this one. They seem to be decent for the most part.
