ive read only two. I think that JOy luck club is her most well known work of all the novels she has written. Her books basically portray chinese american life intertiwned with the rich histories of their parents/ancestors. as we all know, china has a very colorful history and culture so each book tells of a different time in their histories or a different aspect among their numerous beliefs.
My most favorite among her works is Kitchen God's wife. i am not adding any spoilers here because i will leave it up to you to discover about this book. I love it's story and it has a profound effect on me.
Anyway, according to the reviews, her book A hundred secret senses is her most polished work yet. so im excited to read that one. how about you? what's your favorite among her novels :)

I've only read "Joy Luck Club". I had to read it for school, and I didn't really enjoy it much. I didn't like the drastic amount of conflict between the mothers and daughters, though I did enjoy the portal of chinese culture and tradition. The stories had great and powerful imagery, but I didn't much like the plots or the characters.
I'll try looking up her other books sometime.
