Chelsea need to win only 2 matches to secure their EPL Title

Hi suman, Two games mean all games because they only have two games left to played. But I believe Chelsea could win both games. Liverpool would play this coming Thursday at Europa League and if they could win and qualified for the final, I do not think they would give their 100% against Chelsea. Even though Liverpool still has a mathematical chance to qualify for the Champion League but it is very slim because it has three more team above them that looking for the same place. I do not think that Chelsea can has much trouble against Wigan Athletic. Wigan Athletic has nothing else to play for. They were safe for another season at Premier League because Hull City (third place from bottom) can not leapfrog them with two games remain. But, football is unpredictable game. There is nothing impossible and we can only assure things when the final whistle is blown.

Usially in the end of the season those teams that are in the middle of the table struggle th eleast becaus ethey can't get more or lose more. Stoke is one of them, so this game can not show the real strength of Chelsea. Definitely it has lifted Chelseas team spirit but they are professional and know well that their next week game against Liverpool is the determining game. On the other hand Liverpool has to win the next week game to have higher chances of being in the European matches (any of them) in next season. (Of course, if they lose this year's EUFA's final). So It will be a very important game for both of them. I think Chelsea wouldn't lose to Liverpool but to win also would be very tough.

Indeed Chelsea were just far too strong for Stoke and the visitors weren't even there just to make up the numbers either. They did try but just didnt have the pace and power to make any real impact. I did think they were unfortunate with goal 2 as on another day that would have been given as a foul and card (possibly red) for Kalou, but overall it made little difference. I would hope Chelsea win it, as it breaks up United's run again. It's been a far more interesting season in the premier this year as there are more teams in and around the top of the table. In fact the whole division has been fairly close this year. Even now in the last few games, teams like West Ham and Wigan could move up 4-5 places in the last 2 games and secure higher placed bonuses.

I am a Chelsea fan and yes, Chelsea sailed completely over Stoke and allow Stoke to capitalize on a single occasion also. The striking, passing has been wonderful and Lampard is doing well. I want Chelsea to slaughter off Liverpool. I want Chelsea to clinch the title and their form at the moment is good.

Yes. I agree . As a supporter of Arsenal, I really don't care that who wins the tittle . But i am always against United so i am going to cheer chelsea. But chelea have Liverpool in the next fixture who are putting their full efforts in every match in order to secure 4th position . SO it is going to be a tough fixture of chelsea . This season was very open , both for the tittle and the 4th spot . It will be very interesting to see chelsea defeat liverpool . I think though chelsea are ahead in points , Both chelsea and united have same chances of winning . Arsenal could have also been in this race if the haven't lost their two regulation fixtures .I would like to see Chelsea win the tittle and Manchester city gaining the 4th spot . Have a nice day !!
