The people we have the most in common with are our friends. We grew up with them or spend most of our time with them specially when we're still in school or at work. Often times, we spend extra time with them outside of school and work when we go to the mall, out of town, do sports or other activities. However, when we have our own family, priorities may change and time spent with friends may also be lesser. So at your given stage in your life now, how much time do you spend with your friends?

Back then when I was younger, we'd spend much time together. We spend it everyday back when we were still in school. We'd even spend hours talking on the phone even though we were together whole day.
Then we went to college, and decided on different courses and professions and schools, we spent at least summer breaks and weekends (though not every weekend because most were studying out-of-town and we'd make projects for class during those days) but still we got in touch by writing and calling.
After school, we started working. We had difference schedules and locations of work, which made 'meeting' difficult but still possible. We met occasionally for coffee or just hanging out.
Soon, people started to have a family, had boyfriends, were promoted, started traveling abroad and we no longer met as often was we wanted. But we strove to at least meet once a year.
I don't think friendship diminish over time. Regardless the activities each has to do or does, friendship will always be there. No matter how often or frequent we are together or apart, it doesn't mean that they won't be our friends. Friendships lasts, but it will always take the backseat of our lives. Family comes first. Real friends understand that.

I agree. I can remember those days when we'll spend talking over the phone until morning. I truly miss that time when planning a trip or a night out was easier because we didn't have other priorities like family and work.
I also agree that friendships stay that no matter how seldom you see each other the connection is there. It's like when you get together again, we simply pick up from where we left off. Good thing also nowadays, there are so many ways to stay connected like facebook and cellphones. The updates we receive or a simple call or text can make a lot of difference.

It may be true about the forms of communication we have these days, but as people mature, friendship matures too. As I said earlier, priorities change, therefore regardless the communication mediums, we have lesser attention to friends as we are focusing more on family.

Actually when we all were in college we used to meet a lot but then now most of us are working and do have husband or boyfriend so it has become difficult and difficult to meet now a days. But still we girls decide atlist one Sunday morning to meet once in a while and have a chat.
I feel really happy when i get a chance to meet these girls. They are my close friends and they are with me more than 10 years .We have very fine tuning.

At the stage of my life now, my time spent for my friends is lessen unlike when we are still in college. Because nowadays we are busy with our own careers since we are just starting building it. But we make it a point that we still meet, it's either we go for an outing, dinner out, watch movies or just hangout at whom evers home :)

At this point of time, i don't spend much time on my friends. I only have time with my family and to my husband. I can meet friends but need to schedule it because most of us have our own activity and schedules to keep.
It was not like before when we are in College, we used to hang out a lot and then talk, watch movies and go shopping. But now that we are all married, most of my friends do live in other countries, so do I so the only friends left to where I am now, we can meet but have to schedule it because most of us have work also.
Anyway, I accepted that fact long time ago because you cannot keep your closest friends the same way like before when location is concern and the status also. Some people do change in attitude when they become richer, sad but true.

Lately life is going so dynamic (as a fast speed movie), running all the time. I hardly ever see my friends anymore - fast dinner or shopping once or twice a year. We try to be in touch online or occasionally on the phone. We have a lot going on with our families and work, so we hardly get together much in person. Sad but truth:(
