It is quite amusing to think how our mind is so quickly affected by something that is entertaining. Even to the point that we let entertainment rule our life. Disagree? How many government officials do we have that is from the field of news and entertainment media? Local and national. Still don't agree? Look at our history. Did you know that cockfighting was one of the propagandas of the "old colonial churches" to supress the natives? They know that people who are entertained, especially with gambling has no time for rebellion. Right now, we are also gambling, not only with our money, but with our lives as well. The mark of our pen is about to rule our lives at least for the next couple of years. We gotta be careful of this, considering that it is not our lives that is at stake but those of our children as well. We die, we live our children inwhat kind of world. I really have nothing against these entertainment politicians. A lot of them has done better than our TRAPO (traditional politicians). Comde to think of it, this TRAPO's are the one who make a circus out of our government. How are your views on this one?

Katumbal, care to name who among the actors made it real good in Philippine politics? Estrada? Revilla? Lapid? Sotto? These actors had been making a mockery of our political situation that's why we are in the pits. But they are not entirely to blame. The supposedly intelligent ones? Pimentel, Cayetano? Escudero? Wow, the august senate had been reduced to what you call a circus!

You know the circus has a lot more dignity than most politicians that we have. At least the circus is serving to make us laugh. This guys however should be leading the country and they ended up clowns. Remeber the dance of Oreta in the senate during the Jose Pidal hearing. Well I can give credit to Ate Vi. She maybe the "Star for all Season" but i think she is doing rather well in Batangas. I'm not really quite fond of most actors and actresses especially those in the senate. Lapid, Estrada, Revilla, Sotto... I'm sorry sirs. I was a big fan but I would have loved it if you had stayed in the movies. Big disappointments right now are Edu Manzano and Manny Pacquiao. What are these guys thinking? Too many hits on noggin on Manny. And what is Edu gonna do as VP? Dance the papaya song for the banana republic? Then you have the basketball greats. Jaworski, Webb. And you have the ones from news media! we have i think what we could call living on the edge politics in the Philippines right now. I wish everybody GOODLUCK cause we will need every bit of luck we could get our hands on come election day.

the trapo are those who are greedy for the position and who are become corrupt in the government. they are the one who cannot leave their position because they know that they are possessing some powers to control. if they are not be able to run in their position then one of the members of the family will run on the position that would be leave by the trapo.

That is the usual connotation of the term TRAPO. Literally, they would just mean that they are not good for anything but wiping the mess with. Hahaha. You know this dynasty politicians. I know particulary 1 good example. You know the Philippine's Justice Secretary? He is making quite a ruckus in his hometown. His son is running for congress while the Justice sec is running for mayor. Dunno how old he really is. And then you have the famous Ampatuan's. Then you have the Cojuanco's. And the Aquino's, even our current President has a long lineage of politicians. And who can ever forget the Marcoses. Dang! I can go on forever!
