paypal actually supports debit card if it has a VISA or Mastercard logo. I suggest that you coordinate first with your issuing bank and ask them if they accept paypal and if they do just like my bank then your problem is solved.

Have you tried verifying your debit card account with your Paypal? I know debit cards, just like credit cards, you can verify them with your Paypal as long as it has a Mastercard or Visa logo in it. Here in the Philippines, the easiest way for those who don't have credit card to withdraw their money in Paypal is to open a debit card account with UnionBank, one of the most innovative banks here. Do you have UnionBank in your place?

if you don't have a credit card but a debit card you can transfer your money there too!!your debit card should be one from the visa electron circuit or enabled by mastercard and so these can be accepted by paypal as credit card too!!if not you can transfer your funds on your bank account adding your bank code!!

Hi, Well you need a credit card or a debit card only if you want to transfer an amount more than $500 per month. With credit/debit card you may transfer upto $2500 per month. You can always get payment directly sent to your bank account, without using a credit card. Please read the terms of payment and about payment limit. Thanks God bless you

As long as your debit card supports visa and mastercard, then there's no problem. If it doesn't have, you can purchase for a virtual credit card which you can use for a year.

I set up via my bank versus using our check/debit card. It shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, actually I use my debit card number at paypal. They do not mind as long as it has "visa" marked on it. You can use it as a credit card. Only difference is that you will not receive any bill. And of course, it does not boost credit. Good luck!

You can verify your alertpay using phone number. I received email from alertpay few days ago that told me about this. Alertpay announced that we can verify our account in one of two easy way. The first way is using credit card and the second way is using your cell phone. Just login to your alertpay account and choose one of two way. I prefer to choose using cellular phone. But I don't know how much my cell phone will charge me for this. Alternative way to verify our paypal account is using VCC. Since we can't verify our paypal account using our local bank account, we only can verify our paypal using credit card or debit card supported by visa. I verify my paypal account using virtual credit card. It is safer using VCC rather than credit card directly.

I used a debit card too from my bank to verify with Paypal using my account number, the only problem is the Bank deducted too much from the proceeds I have from my Paypal transaction. Let say I have requested to Paypal to withdraw $15 dollars to my debit card account, my bank charged me about $6 which was too much. So now, I found out that you can get an EON card from Union Bank which is solely for Paypal withdrawals and no charge from the bank.
