What caused this? We can respond, report and/or ignore but we can't delete. I skip many that I am not interested in and find too many others that I don't have time to respond on. Then there are the others that are violations and I report if I see them. But only admins delete and they don't delete if the reports are wrong.

Hi saphrina! What comes to my mind about the title of your topic is a violated myLot rules or guidelines, otherwise there would be no deletion that will happen. All topics and discussions here should be respected unless it's against the rules of myLot or if the topic is too offensive and trying to attack somebody or a group of people. Yes I agree with you that if we don't like a topic or discussion, we should not force ourselves to like it, or much worse if we will even criticize it. What we need to do, is just ignore it, leave it there and find for another that will fall under your interest. Yes I have also noticed some myLotters who were acting like they were the myLot admin. They kept on criticizing topics that didn't even do harm to them. They were being offensive and they keep on attacking. I guess these type of people are just trying to get some attention, even a negative one. They are just getting envy to those myLotters who were successful on creating topics and getting responses even just been a member for not a long time compared to them. They just cannot accept the fact the the newer myLotters were earning more than they do. These people are so ridiculous. They don't know how to respect people and all in their minds is to criticize people. They will never success with their attitudes, even they pretended to be. Lol! Nice topic saphrina! It's a fact that we could not able to please everybody here... that's why we have so many interests available here, somehow you could not just response to a discussion... even it is your friend... I stretched it before in my tips that sometimes there is a good discussion but we have no idea on how to deal with it, or simply saying we have no taste for it... so why drop some words? The best thing to do is leave and seek for another topics, is that simple? Why can't others adhere on that fact?

but what if I don't want to stay out of trouble? Oh Ok fine, I'll be good...

Well, sorry to be late here on the first case. Aha!!! Well, you see there are many discussions in myLot that are unwanted for me. So, a generous lady named Alice has given us the freedom to choose our own interests instead of making it like other forums. Okay, we chose our interests, but still there are questions that break the guidelines or not of our interest even though it has been posted there. So, you can just move things over and go to the next one! That is it! If I feel there is a guideline violation going on somewhere, I feel it is my duty to tell the newbies about the FAQ's and guidelines......... Of course, myLot is fun and great - except for that fire breathing dragon of yours!!

We don't have the right to justify topic of one another,there is an admin of this site to know who violated the rules and regulations, we are member and if you think one member is committing mistakes of his/her posting at least we still consider her/his feeling if we will justify her/his by means of attacking, if the author of the said topic should normally understand if you will be polite to show the guidelines he/she need to take in track.Not by means of criticism.Normally if she/he committed mistakes and break rules and regulations it should be the admin will be the one who make the moves to justify and delete what they think its not up the regulations of the site. I don't even mind to be criticize if ever that I committed mistakes but not merely in debate forms of idea.I'm the person with fair and justice in mind that I don't have the right to justify the right of others and ability of others.Criticizing somebody in in favorable way and harsh way is a silly behavior and it just a prove that you're getting jealous in the works of others. As long as the discussion is not outright negative in itself(racism etc) it's better to leave it if you didn't find it interesting. I say that because i can never approve those sort of discussions. I had rated one +ve by mistake But that being aside, myLot is for fun and discuss what you like. There's no point in indulging in rude remarks and mud splashing while all the time you were not really interested. If you are puling legs of your friends, well... Otherwise, just leave it. There's plenty to be offered here

delete means just to flush off the thing that you dont like like you can delete something from your pc or your life or your book, etc enjoy

Hey saphrina! Nicely done! I like the discussion title alot! I don't think anyone would have done it so well! An you are absolutely right! If you don't like a topic, move on to the next! There is no reason to be rude! If you have nothing nice to say or add just don't say anything! There is no reason to be nasty! This is supposed to be a learning and fun site! Sometimes there are serious topics and if you aren't interested, just stay away! Thanks saphie for your wonderful and brilliant taste in discussion topices!

When I saw the title, I figured this would be interesting to say the least. I agree we are here to at least have some fun, share our knowledge, even offer advice when the discussion is seeking advice. If something doesn't interest me, or if I have no reasonable response, I look for something else that a friend started or maybe even responded to. Naturally, everyone has their own opinion, so of course if I have a different opinion, it doesn't mean I shouldn't respond, yet, it doesn't mean I'm going to be nasty and rude. I also enjoy seeing a discussion where the person who starts the discussion, also takes part in it the way you do. When someone starts a discussion and doesn't even take the time to acknowledge the responses, it actually defeats the purpose of the discussion, and that doesn't piss me off as much as it is insulting. Why bother starting a discussion if you aren't going to acknowledge the responses you get? Great job Saphrina!!!

Hi Saphrina, if I remember right the only time I have given a negative rating to a discussion is when I saw the person using really filthy stuff - in my language. I dont delete. But it does get a bit difficult to sift through so many of the same discussions to find one that really interests me. This one did. :)

I'm one who wants to see others happy a little appreciation of their hard work will be fine,I don't want to disappoint people just because I'm not please of what they did, but even they do, still not that big deal to me as it was not self who create many things though, no one should complain of others work as long as it is was not really bump others intentional.We came here to relax and earn not to disappoint people by means if dispute, show a little care while the are still in your eyes you may regret when things of you went wrong you will find them in your side he;ping you to move on, who knows!

Hey saphrina, I completely agree with you. From what I understood from this discussion is that you don't like it when people negatively rate or report you based on whether or not they liked the discussion. If the discussion is a particular disinterest or something they do not like they, I agree they should leave well enough alone. People should not hate on others based on content. People should report negatively based on one-liners or content that does not pertain to the original discussion. I thought I was being nice here on MyLot but last night my rank went down a notch. Well it looks like to try and dodge the haters I will focus my discussions on non-negative issues or something like that.
