Have you seen the difference in TREATING BOYS and GIRLS in the society.....

Hi umadper, boys given more freedom than girls. I don't think it is bad, this is what our parents shows more interest on the girls coz they should not be in any trouble.

hi uma, I agree with you. The effect of society as from culture, traditions, upbringing and works it is very visible of such different treatment. Maybe because of the physical attribute in nature by a man and the woman who has many exceptions like maternity leave. I guess though others see it bad, it is part of the nature itself being humans and their individual roles as to man and woman. This is the main reason, why woman had this new conception and perspective to have the word " girl power" to prove that women are also capable to some things they can do with regards to some skills man has. I cannot keep up with all the different traditions and cultures. No offense, intended. But here in my country, boys and girls are treated exactly the same way. I have to admit, we have more problems with the teenage boys than the girls these days. I think both should be treated equaly, as both can really keep you busy. TATA.

Well it was in older days, where gals were given so many restrictions and no freedom. But it has changed a lot in minds of parents. The society changing now better.

well umadper you should not wonder why were are being treated differently coz we have to.. i mean boys and girls has different needs you know.. and we cannot treat girls the way we treat boys... because of course we always have to be nice with girls.. i mean nice with boys to... but for example... its really a big deal if girls came home late.. but not with noys... why? coz each of us are unique... each of us needs different things.. and i know you knew it too:)
