When I was in 5th grade I played the clarinet. I also know how to play a few songs on the piano, but I don't really know how to play the piano, someone showed me how to play those songs and I just never forgot them. I am actually a singer and have performed and competed in singing competitions and I was also a dancer in my younger years, so my instrument is my voice.

I used to play the keyboard (electronic piano) when I was a teenager. I gave it up. I really hate that I gave it up. I have recently bought some new instructional books so that I can start playing again. I just need to get a battery for my keyboard. It is very old. I wonder if it will even still work!

I learned to play the flute in middle school. Hated every minute of it. Played for 2 years and finally told my mom and dad that I would not play anymore. I had to play the flute because that was the instrument that my sister had played so we already owned it. I wanted to learn the drums but my dad refused.

I never took lessons. I played the base drum in our cheering squad back in high school.
