has your dog ever had pink eye?

okay so last week my dogs eyes were real red and running. so i googled the symptoms and it said that she either had an sty, eye infection or pink eye. i took her to the hospital and it turns out that she had pink eye. but the doctors say its not contagious. they gave her some medicine so she is looking 100% better now. but its just strange i never knew dogs could get pink eye. has any one else had their dog get this? the vet says it comes from them getting poo in their eye. i wonder how they manage to do this. i felt so bad for my baby because she was also on her period to. i wonder do they have cramps like us when they are on their period?

Pink eye describes the state of the eyes rather than the cause. It can be an infection, virus or just irritation. A dog will get these the same way we do, touching her eye with a dirty paw because it itches is a great way to get any of these problems.

i saw sometimes dogs who has a red eye or may be affected from this illness..in reality i think me too as your doctor told you that this is not a really abd illness so i think it would be on health as soon after taking the medicines!!hopng your dog cna be better as soon!!
