Hi, You're right that there's lots of ways you can get links to your blog - there's also a few different types of links - back links, recipricol links, one way links etc. When it comes to building links to your site there's a many different ways you can go about it From article marketing to posting in forums and having a link to your site in your signature etc. Ideally what you want is a good one way link (that is a site links to you but you don't link back to it) from a high ranking/authority site that is related to the topic of your site. Remember too that when getting links to your site whereever possible use anchor text for the link - that is - your main keywords are the text that surrounds your link

i to hear that backlinks increase you traffic to your site and earning for promote and other stuff. my friend got alot of backlinks but they happen to do nothing for him so i guess you need to get good backlinks

Well if you mean about backlink is other site make a link to your site, then i know a few methods. Try making a very good articles, and spread it in a forum. do you have a clear definition as what a back link is and what it does? Because I have been trying to do that but not sure exactly the best approach I should take.
