what is religion according to you?

Hi aditya, To my way of thinking, religion is a set of rules regarding how life should be lived and based on the teachings of a particular holy book. Much of it is based on myth and legend and there are many different versions based on how different groups interpret the teachings of that book. There are nearly 40,000 different denominations within Christianity alone. While there may be some good in religion, it divides rather than unites people and money that could be used to feed the hungry house the homeless is used to build larges churches and temples. I would like to see the peoples of the world unite behind a common goal, to make this world a better place for everyone and to take the best from all religions. Blessings.

hell0! well, according to me religion is something that I really thing belongs to each nation, to every community on that world, and something that makes people believe in something good, because what else can it be, than something cratedby man, something what gathers all the people, from all over the world and make them all equal- because as we all know in front of God we all are equal- there are no poop and no rich people. there are no crippled and no heal, we all are one and as one we are judged. So religion is also something that gives the point of life to many people, people who live just to pray, people who are very religious and for them God is the m,ost important. religion gives those people strenght and make them happier in their sad daily round, because no matter how hard their day was, after they come back home and say their prays they feel better and relaxed. maybe that's why people have created religion and God, because I think that God is created by man, and not the opposite- man is created by God. Religion is different for everyone and everyone understand it in its own way, so that's why everyone of us can define it in a different way, that's some of us can hold for non-proper!
