My friend said french fries are healthy i have never heard of that but to some people they are healthy. For me they seem to be grease fat food that people eat to get big and husky if you know what i mean. What do you think?

HI XXanzdragon
French fries are not the healthiest food you can eat they just taste really good however it can also depend on how you cook them if you cut our own potatoes and bake them instead of frying them that would cut way back on the grease also sweet potatoes are better for you than white potatoes I have never tried sweet potatoes fries baked or otherwise but I would imagine they would taste ok
I am of the opinion that you can just about anything in moderation
and also if you watch your portion size

It depends on the way they are cooked. If a lot of oil is used then they aren't as healthy, if skins are left on them they are a little healthier. If they're crispy I feel it means that just the right amount of grease was used to make the fries.

I guess it depends. French fries cooked by fast food chains are really greasy and have certain other ingredients put into it. :) But if you cooked your own french fries at home with the use of fresh potatoes and extra virgin olive oil, then you might control the greasiness and the oil content of it. :)
