Twilight, New Moon, Vampires Assistant are some of the movies related to Vampire Stories. For Tv series, we have, Trueblood and Vampire Diaries. The story of vampires suddenly gained interest and popularity and viewers are hooked and awaiting upcoming movies, series and episodes. This June Eclipse will be showing and I am sure that fans can't wait to watch it on the first day of screening. I too watched all of these movies and tv series and I find the stories really interesting.
How about you, are you into vampire movies or TV Series?

I'm also into vampire movies... In TV series, I don't have much time to watch and I have to wait another episode to continue watching... So I watch TV series if its already finished the whole season...

I've always been fascinated with books and movies with vampires long before the gained fan girls.

there have been vampire fangirls for longer than you expect. they've been in and out of the mainstream since the victorian times.
Laurell K Hamilton created fangirls
Anne Rice created fangirls
Christopher Lee created fangirls, even Bela Lugosi.
vampire fangirls aren't new.
I was one at about 8. I am now nearly 30. my mum was one before me.
my first crush ever was on Louis De Pointe Du Lac. a fictional character not even yet portrayed on film. not a boyband popstar. and even before that I voraciously read such vampire material as was suitable. I still remember a lot about the Usborne book of vampires, which I knew like the back of my hand, and the Little Vampire stories, which were great. Gruesome and Bloodsocks. all sorts.
girls have always been particularly drawn to the vampire mythos.
so the twilight fangirls aren't anything new. just more numerous than usual. hell if I was that age now I doubt I'd be any different. I was one, in my own way when I first discovered Anne Rice.

My daughter is- she really loves Vampires, and i don't even know why. She watches Moonlight, True Blood, Blood Ties, Blood Plus, Twilight, 'Anne Rice' Vampires, Vampire Diaries, Underworld series is her favorite though. She eve reads books about them, but it's a good thing she doesn't really wear any vampire stuff- like fangs and goth outfits..if that happens I'd be really freaked out.

I think vamps are also interesting...Have you watched Moonlight and Blood Ties? maybe True Blood? they are good vampire series
I've just watched Cirque Du Freak--it was so funny, can't wait for the sequels..

At first I didn't like watching them but my friends love them so much that my interest also grew. I tried watching Trueblood and I got hooked to watching the next episodes and other shows as well. I also used to watch buffy. Nowadays, it seems that people are cashing on Vampire related topics not only in movies but in tv and books well. I am surprised as well when I see fans of the Twilight series line up and go wild on premier nights. Thanks cmjune! =)

I like watching vampires movies and stories especially on tv series. You see vampires are interesting people if they are indeed true. In my own opinion they were just folklore that is been told by generations to generations. If they are really living among us there's a possibility that we all are vampires right now.
I think what interest me most to them is their power and their superhuman strength. And the fact that they can live a thousand years and never grow old...that would be very interesting how it feels if you are living for that long.

I used to be a fan of vampire fiction and vampire movies. But that was back when the vampires were the bloodthirsty bad guys. I liked movies like From Dusk Till Dawn or The Lost Boys.
Ever since Buffy fell in love with Angel on that series the whole vampire genre has gone downhill and fast. They all play out like teen romance dramas.

I don't like all this new vampire fever, and I specially dislike the new "twilight-style" vampires. Vampires don't glow with the light, they f*cking die! I did enjoy some vampire stories on the past but more on books than on movies. One of my favorite books ever is Dracula and also enjoyed Interview with the vampire and Lestat the vampire from Anne Rice. I would really like to read the whole vampire chronicles from Anne Rice but just can't get the time to.

Some time back I was interested in a show called Forever Knight. The premise of the show dealt with a vampire that wanted to be more human. Or he may not wanted to be as reliant on human blood like his other buddies were. It was a good show. But, as far as these newer ones go, no I really haven't been interested in them.

hahah yes :) I really liked the twilight movies, and the books were even better. I'm most definetely into any vampire related movies. I know a lot of people who dislike it, but jus because everyone else likes it doesnt mean you cant... oh and the new moon movie wasnt as good as twilight. I hated the fact that Edward had to leave. He wasn't even in most of the movie. It was pretty much focused on Jacob. I actually find the wolfs pretty boring. Vampires are so much better :)

Only the Twilight series. I HATE vampires. I despise them. They're too darn popular. Not just these days, but throughout the history of literature and movies. Just count the number of vampire books and movies in comparison with books and movies about other mythical creatures. Vampires come out on top. It's not cool. Dragons, mermaids, selkies, unicorns, centaurs, fairies, and griffins need some love.
I like Twilight because I liked the books when I read them. (Breaking Dawn's my favorite) I'm excited for Eclipse coming out this June, but other than that I will be avoiding all vampires.
