This season is really hot and everybody wants to go out swimming...

Our destination is somewhere in Laguna, but I don't know any resort where we can stay and swim for the day. It must be somewhere in Calamba or Los Banos, it's mosre accessible and nearer and we only have a day to do this since my children are busy with their other personal activities. Any suggestion where we can go, some place to relax, have some barbeque and swim a bit?

there are so many good resort in laguna. i could suggest montevista, dona jovita and splash mountain. but you know the best resort in laguna is the splash island in binan laguna. it is only near in south luzon expressway. but the only thing that it is not good in there. is that you cannot bring any foods there.

We've been to Monte Vista, Splash Mountain and Splash Island during the past summers. We want to try other resorts, maybe we'll go to Dona Jovita instead, it's just around Mt Makiling, I guess. Actually, Splash Island is just in the neighborhood, my mother lives in Binan, the kids loves to go sliding at Splash Island, yeah the only problem was you can't bring in food there and you can't enjoy swimming so much because their biggest pool, it's a wave pool actually, is not so deep.

I think there is a place called ocean where plenty of water is available for swimming. Then why do you want to resorts and waste money ?

Beaches are far from our place, I may save money swimming in the ocean but I will spend more to transportation and air fare. Thanks for responding, anyway!

if you want to be in laguna.. i suggest you go try some private pools. it's summer and for sure, the resorts would be full.
my bf and i always love the hotsprings though and we enjoy the warm water that heals too... you might want to try that one out? :)

Yes, it is true, the grueling hit of the summer season is really penetrating hard that everybody just want to get out from the house and go to the beach or mountain resort for some relaxation and cooling. The extreme hot weather in the city is so impossible to handle. Every night, my electric fan in my room is facing on my body because I cannot sleep at night, even early in the morning the temperature is so hot. I plan to return home in the province next week for some rest.

Yes its very hot.
Maybe you can try to go to five star hotel around you usually they have swimming pool and barbeque party. My family tend to go there because we can not have a break with our job, its not far and the place really comfort. Water park also a good idea but we will not get the barbeque but they have sell so many kind of food there.

I will watch responses here and see what people have to recommend. My boyfriend and I want to go to Hundred Islands in Pangasinan but the tours that we see online are very expensive
