is it weird to start a conversation with a foreigner?

if you are a foreigner who comes to China,is it appropriate for a Chinese person to start a conversation with you?Will you think that this Chinese is using you to practise English or other foreign languege?im in a dilemma now...

well, for me it is not weird at all, becaues that's the point of conversation- no matter a foreign or not, it is always good to speak with people or at least to try it!

no it is not weird to start conversation with the foreigners unless and until they undderstand your language you need to know his language or he need to know your sit is very important to know each others language or some common language that is english my friend happy mylotting
