Which is a stronger emotion: anger or love?

Anger can kill but so can love. These two emotions are polar opposites, as they exist on opposite ends of the spectrum. Love knows no bounds and anger or wrath is one of the seven deadly sins.
Anger can be stemmed from loving someone who does not love them back. Or by being envious of two people who are in love because they are mixed up in a love triangle.
I believe that love is the stronger emotion as someone can love someone so deeply, that it might be able to save someone from anger. The lord did say to "Love thy enemy. What you do to the lowest of people you do unto me."
Despite all this I still believe that "Love conquers all," even anger.

So much love with jealousy could be more hazardous than Anger because it could kill. Light anger could still make you think normally. So much anger couldn't...This too emotions are equal.

I think LOVE is the stronger emotion. Despite of any bad sign or misunderstanding sometimes we tend to ignore the squabbles and arguments we have with our someone because we love them. Anger is only momentarily and could not be used as a ground for any impossible gesture like the one we showed when we are in love.

What do you mean by "be used as a ground for any impossible gesture like the one we showed when we are in love." What particular gesture do you mean here? It is always best to ignore the anger in one's heart, when it is directed towards a person because of the love that someone shares. Take two extremes for example. What would happen if someone killed the one you love the most. What would be stronger the love that you gave that person or the anger that you have towards the one that killed your beloved??

Hi eddyspaghetti,
Let you know that both anger and love is a strong emotions. The physical effects of anger include increased heart rate, blood pressure, and levels of adrenaline and noradrenaline. But love is kind and is any of a number of emotions related to a sense of strong affection and attachment. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings. Despicable anger is fired by self-love, self-conceit, or self-will. Anger makes us weak but love, very strong. Anger is defined in the dictionary as a strong emotion expressing displeasure or dislike. It can be both constructive or destructive.
One of the things we need to do is to learn to be slow to anger. We need to take the time to be sure that we have a good reason to be angry. Patience is one of the things needed to overcome anger.
Thanks.

Dear friend , i must go once again with the same answer as yours , i strongly belive too that love is much more stronger then anger , because the anger its not something static , and while for love you are able to change , like i did , i pass also trho anger moments , and sometimes when i am really pissed off i start hittin thingz , but in order to do so i go somewhere where no one can see me , as when i am expressing love i have no shame and i am capable to express myself any time anywhere , so i guess the power of love is indeed more strong then the anger .
Have a nice evening dear friend

Love and anger can be called strong emotions. It's what you do with them that gives them the greatest strength. My choice would be love. Love reaches the greatest goodness in our hearts and souls. Anger is resentment gone wild. Love is the emotion we need to give our strength to.

Both emotions have caused people to do some insane things. They are really extremely strong and can cause a lot of problems, but in different ways. To choose the strongest one between the two is a problem. It was something that it took a while for me to figure it out but there is one reason why I had picked one of these emotions over the other.
Love would have to be the stronger emotion. It just lingers for much longer. Anger is a more momentarily emotion. After some time, it will fade. Plus love is something that can consume a person and control their life. It is a very strong belief in many cases and there are times where it can lead to a dangerous obsession. If it is not mutual, then it can lead to a lot of trouble. I think that anger is an emotion that fades after a time. Love builds up and can lead to either something is great, but it also has a dark side to it if you think about it.

well, anger is definitely the more destructive one, but I guess that love is stronger than anger, or I make a mistake, because we all think that the good one must be stronger. or maybe they both are equal!

Hi Eddy, I had to put my thinking cap on to answer your excellent question. Anger has its roots in our base nature. Love has its roots in our godly nature. Since good always triumphs over the evil, therefore my conclusion is that love is a stronger emotion than love is.

Hi, eddy.
In my opinion, anger may overwhelm love in the short run, but love overwhelms anger in the long run. Anger is a strong emotion, an evil emotion, it can fully occupy your mind and prevent you from thinking clearly. But I think love is stronger. I agree with you, quote 'love conquers all'.

hi eddy
for what i have experienced when my x text me in my cellphone i usually gets angry because of the fact that she left me here to rot. but because of my love i cannot deny the fact that i still love her at the bottom of my heart. so im forced to text her and say hi or hello. in the end i believe that love has no boundaries... so love is stronger than anger... ................. =)

probably love. its hard to let go of it. Some people would die for their loved ones. I don't know anyone who would die for anger. So it is definitely true, Love does conquer all. :)
