The Pursuit of Happyness is one of my favorite movies. The scene that touched me the most is the part where the little boy and his father was playing basketball. Will Smith played the role of Chris Gardner and Jaden Smith, his son in real life played the role of the little boy, Christopher.
The father asked the son what he wanted to be when he grows up and the little boy answered that he wanted to be a basketball player. The father said NO. He wanted him to be something else. Then he noticed his son went quiet. He grabbed his son and said, "You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want something, go get it. Period."
That one scene was the most thought-provoking. It made me stop and think about my own dreams and all that I have gone through just to reach them.
Amazing what movies can do. I try hard not to get emotional when I watch movies the fact that I am a guy but it sure is hard especially if it keeps making me think about my own life.

The scene in the bathroom is the scene that touched me the most. He puts his foot on the door to keep other people from coming in and waking up his son, and when I saw the tears start to roll from his eyes, I started to cry too. It was just so moving, he was in suck a down and out place, me and my parents have been there, so maybe that was what also made me feel extra touched by the scene

The Pursuit of Happyness is also one of my favorite movies.I think the scene touched me most was when Smith and his son pretend to go back to old times and see dinosaurs all around them, which makes me think how creative and optmistic they are. After that, they hide in a cave which eaxctly is a tiolet. When Will Smith begin to cry heipless,I felt so moved.
Life will make us strong!!

The scene that really touched me the most was the scene in the bathroom and they were pretending to be in a cave. I was also really inspired by the scene in which Will Smith was already interning for the brokerage company and he was trying to study in the shelter. That scene was really something else because if that really happened to the person the movie was based on, his perseverance makes me want to work that hard as well despite the hardships we face in life.

when he got the job. you could see in his eyes that he knew from there on out he would be able to provide for him and his son.
