Why is something which tastes so good, not good for you?

I am talking about PIZZA. The kind of pizza you get at a restaurant. It tastes so good and is such a treat. But. . . well it is loaded with stuff that isn't good for you. The cheese, the best thing about the pizza is downright unhealthy, especially if it is full fat, full flavor. Then there is the sausage which is also - most of the time full of fat. I love a good pizza. It is good cold, warm, just any way! The flavor! Then you can get creative and order whatever you want on the pizza, OMG!!! That is why it is a treat, not good for you to eat every day.

Hi, arabgirl.
I have the same feeling. Not only pizzas, but hamburgers, crisps are labelled as junk food, because they are chock-full of oil, fat, carbs and calories. They are really tasty, oh, and sweets as well. But I think a small amount is ok for me. :)

i think this is not only confined to pizza alone. Imagine chocolates, pastries, Hamburgers, soda, and a lot more. It seems that what really taste so good is not really recommended to be eaten (exactly what you said). But I guess life is full of balance. I think that is what life is really made of. If you think about it, if miss this balance we suffer one way or the other.

Hi, arabgirl28. I think that pizza is still healthy to eat. You can still add lowfat cheese and leave out the sausages too. And, you can add beef or grilled chicken. It can still be healthy. Onions and red and yellow peppers are very healthy to eat. And bell peppers. Pizza still can be very healthy. It just depends upon what is all added onto it.

I always thought cheese was good for you. I'm sure there is a lot of fat in it, though. It does have calcium in it. I used to didn't like cheese and I wouldn't get it on my hamburgers. I do get it now since I found out it's good for you and I've learned to like it. I don't eat pizza all the time but occasionally I will go out for pizza as a treat. Kathy.

I asked the same question myself and I think its more of a psychological thing. I think we are really influenced by what we eat even know we know that its not good, we still want it and crave for it. I think its all in the mind and definitely something could be done.
