Nvidia. Definitely Nvidia. Screw ATI - it's like comparing Intel and AMD - the latter being ATI (yeap, they are). I think PS3 is using NVidia (ATI for Xbox 360). Notice the difference?

don't base them on brand names alone, but rather on models, every company has different level of production to suit every consumers needs, we have entry-level to mid-range level for those budget conscious costumers, we have high-end products and so on you got the idea.

Here's My opinion about it. It all depends on your system. The right processor-memory-motherboard combination is really the most important to take note of. If your vying for nvidia graphics cards, you might want to pair it with motherboards that have chipsets other than the standard "via" chipsets... I forgot the name of the chipset but I suggest you go with brands like gigabyte (except for their mobo with via chipsets) or MSI... or even asus... then pair it with ddr2 or 3 dual channel memory modules. finally, use Intel that has at least 2ghz bus speed. Higher L2 cache means faster load times the more you run a game more frequently. higher FSB definitely better. If you want ATI, maybe you want to pair it with an AMD. basically, same advise from above

both the companies are good at making graphic cards. i like nvidia more because their price is low and performance is good. also nvidia graphic cards dont have a cooling issue. some of the ATI cards have cooling issues which is a matter of concern.

Since I am a grand mother, I am not really sure which would be the best, as I have used both, but I do think I do like Nvidia better than ATI. My laptop has an ATI in it, but I really don't do much as far as playi8ng games in concerned, so it is really hard to say, as I just don't know all that much about them at all. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I think nvidia is better for gaming than ati. But the disadvantage is the price . They are having a high price but ati is having a lower price so that you can afford. But nvidia gives you better gaming performance and graphics when associated with an intel processor
